So, who is the liar and what is their game? What is the real purpose behind all of this frenzy of balancing the budget by cutting entitlements?

Spending TRILLION's of dollars America does not have on PHONY wars that serves ONLY to placate Republican Elitist Warmongers' paranoia and then attacking the American people at their heart to justify their debauchery by attacking the very money they were entrusted to save and protect, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, is downright evil.

This disingenuous attack on Social Security by both Democrats and Republican's is the MOST phony of them all. When President Obama tells the American people there is NO money for any entitlements, then everyone will see the betrayal and know who is guilty for the deception.

February 16, 2010 — Kudos to Mark Miller, a contributor to Reuters’s Prism Money blog, for his post Monday morning calling out NPR, the Associated Press, and NBC’s David Gregory for perpetuating the misleading idea that Social Security is one of the key drivers of the federal deficit. 

Thanks to the energetic efforts of deficit hawks, the notion that Social Security is a leading cause of the deficit has become part of the Beltway consensus. But, as Miller — who’s been pounding this drum for some time — points out, “the consensus is wrong, and so is much of the reporting” on this topic.

"Best examples of our system"? Doing WHAT?

Solving problems and proving real leadership sparring like a box of feral cats?

When is Mr. Obama and his supporters going to learn, it is the Republican's Way and it is THE Republican's Way or nothing? They'll see this country destroyed before they stop trying to enforce their illegitimate and baseless beliefs.

If the shoe was on the other foot -- Obama, Biden and the Democrat's that were responsible for that past 10 years, you can bet the very first thing Bush, Cheney and their Republican supporters would do coming into office would be to start and investigation in preparation for a criminal indictment and trial -- they'd be judged and awaiting their punishment by now. Instead Obama thought to perpetuate the same crimes and lead the American people on down that proverbial "garden path."

I watched the Rachel Maddow Show with Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews for a two-hour replay of President Obama's Q&A with House Republicans. President Obama was impressive, even by my standards. The commentary seemed to think that Mr. Obama is on a steep learning curve and he's starting to see these people for who and what they really are. I hope so.

My problem, fear if you will, is that when he finally accepts the impossibility of rational communications with believers with a bully mentality he will make them look like impotent piss-ants. Some of these mealy-mouth people might well wish they'd kept their traps shut and tried a little bipartisan cooperation with the infidel.

Not even the Constitution of the United States or any of it's laws stand in the way of radical Republican domination. This excerpt says it all:

How much clearer evidence can there be of how warped and extremist we've become on these matters? The express policies of the right-wing Ronald Reagan -- "applying the rule of law to terrorists"; delegitimizing Terrorists by treating them as "criminals"; and compelling the criminal prosecution of those who authorize torture -- are now considered on the Leftist fringe. Merely advocating what Reagan explicitly adopted as his policy -- "to use democracy’s most potent tool, the rule of law against" Terrorists -- is now the exclusive province of civil liberties extremists. In those rare cases when Obama does what Reagan's policy demanded in all instances and what even Bush did at times -- namely, trials and due process for accused Terrorists -- he is attacked as being "Soft on Terror" by Democrats and Republicans alike. And the mere notion that we should prosecute torturers (as Reagan bound the U.S. to do) -- or even hold them accountable in ways short of criminal proceedings -- is now the hallmark of a Far Leftist Purist. That's how far we've fallen, how extremist our political consensus has become.

Is President Obama Too Intelligent for America?

Did America elect a President that is too intelligent for them?

After the last President, Republican and viscerally stupid, maybe America wanted more than just a change in color - race?

David Axelrod on Morning Joe this morning said that the Health Insurance legislation was a complicated matter that even President Bill Clinton had difficulty explaining. Perhaps it's "complicated" because they're trying to sell America on a "bill-of-good" while trying to get them to believe something else. Later I was listening to Dylan Ratigan on Morning Meeting interview Tom Harking, Democrat from Indiana and he laid it all out -- exactly what everyone is going to get -- the SHAFT!

Nothing too complicated in what he had to say.

Later I came across this bit of wisdom from Chris Floyd that explains the reason for the complications:

Years ago, during the run-up to the first Gulf War, I wrote a short piece about the sea of propaganda that was flooding the country, and the difficulty of cutting through to the blood-and-iron reality behind it all. This is the whole of that piece:

I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies.

One of the hardest things about doing stories like the ones honored here tonight is that the reality of our world is buried under so many layers of official deception and well-cultivated public ignorance about our history and our political system. Even if you break through somehow, momentarily, and hold up a fragment of the truth, most people have no context for dealing with it. It's like a bolt from the blue, they can't process the information. And so the sea of lies closes over us again, and again, and again.

But I don't know what else we can do, except to keep on telling as much of the truth as we can find, to anyone who will listen: reclaiming reality, fragment by fragment, one person at a time.

It's an endless task -- maybe a hopeless task -- but the alternative is a surrender to the worst elements in our society -- and in ourselves.

In that regard, the Joe Blow Report, aside from the stated reasons, and we're sure to those that read his observations here and elsewhere realize that the Report is dedicated to the "intelligent," the "thinking" and the "reasoning" reasonable person.

That is why the moronic, stupid, imbecilic assaults and attacks against the object are dealt with and defined for what they are. Furthermore, it should also be said that to do justice where justice is do - President George Bush WAS NOT STUPID!

He was, in our estimation, probably borderline genius. He did what President Obama hasn't yet, and I might add Joe Blow, learned to do. Simplify, simplify and simplify matters so that anyone can understand.
