Special Delivery for the Times-Standard

HEY! Newspaper Editor do you get it?

Wednesday, July 6, 2011, Times Standard,
Your cartoon by Milt Priggee on page A4 is a perversion that attacks the sensibilities of all free Americans and what is right and just in American Jurisprudence.

In America , everyone is INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty in a COURT OF LAW - don't you know?

PS. Actually, the message of the cartoon IS  accurate and correct for a country ruled by men and NOT by law.

If you don't believe me read the My Word commentary printed just below that so-called cartoon by Jeffrey Schwartz: Search warrant folly: An open letter to Paul Gallegos.
Before a judge signs a search warrant, the judge requires that the DA sign off on the warrant with a statement that the DA believes there is probable cause to issue the warrant. Mr. Gallegos should not sign off on these warrants unless -- and until -- the law enforcement agent answers Mr. Gallegos' simple question: “What facts do you have that suggest the suspected marijuana is an unlawful grow.”
Where is the "law" and the "legal" protection afforded by the law entrusted to judges when a judge issues a search warrant totally upon the worthless opinions or beliefs, whether signed or not, "the DA believes there is probable cause" of some man or woman? What happens to the these judges and district attorneys when it is proven there was NO probable cause? Do they manufacture the "probable cause" after-the-fact?

According to Butler Shaffer "the establishment does not get it. Free individuals are withdrawing their consent to be ruled. And it is free people who create the social condition of liberty, not those who simply mouth bromides." Interesting audio where Lew Rockwell talks to Butler Shaffer on the difference between freedom and liberty, and how to be free regardless of the state.

"Withdrawing consent" -- STOP cooperating.

[UPDATE on Mr. Jeffrey Schwartz]
He lays out the actual reason Eureka Police Chief Garr Nielsen was fired, but misfires on who is actually responsible.
Gallegos' candid and public position on medical marijuana is a courageous stand where most of his statewide district attorney colleagues and the Humboldt County law enforcement community feel just about the opposite about medical marijuana. Of course, Gallegos' stand on what he thinks is right despite running into a freight train of ingrained Humboldt County backward politics and the fear of change that infects this county is one of the few bright spots that remain in Humboldt County politics after the November election. Think the firing of the forward-thinking Eureka Police Chief Gar Nielsen by the backward thinking David Tyson.
"Backward thinking" won the war, but it wasn't backward thinking on David Tyson's fault. The previous city council knew full well the issues confronting Chief Garr Nielsen. Why then didn't the FIRE David Tyson when they had the chance? Did they think, (the operative question) that the "backward thinking" people in Humboldt County and in especially Eureka, that support the Humboldt County law enforcement community wouldn't give them the boot at the first opportunity?

And therein lies the rub, Mr. Schwartz' problem, right along with most everyone else that I know, is that the facts do not support his or their opinions about who actually terminated Garr Nielsen's job and who is actually responsible for issuing bogus search warrants that allows local police agencies to brutalize innocent people without any sort of accountability. In each case it is the peoples' demand to be governed by men rather than law. Free men and women that enforce personal integrity NEVER consent to be governed by such corrupt and lawless people.

Boondoggles' Caboodle

This blog was started on Thursday, January 21, 2009.

Anyone that follows this blog knows that I probably get my inspiration from the newspaper -- our illustrious Times-Standard here in Eureka, California and others. I look fervantly for something of interest to carp about. I'm always on the lookout for the knee-jerk, simple-minded, and sometimes moronic opinions. I look at the Editorial, letters to the editor, local opinion writers and the nationally renouned writers' of mostly dogma, propaganda and brainwashing nonsence. We try to stay away from any personal involvement in politics and religion. We want an objective and as neutral as possible in our observations. We look for the less obvious, the defacto definitions and statements of truth -- what people do rather than what they'd like you to think they do. So, what did we find today?

First, from watching Democracy Now we got a good look at the lies and hypocricy of this country and the UN (United Nations) coming out of Haiti. The reason those people are not getting the help they desperately need -- food, water, medicine and temporary shelter is because the US and UN are deliberately not getting it to them. You can bet your last nickle, and you probably will, that if the troops in Iraq or Afgahnastan needed whatever supplies to stay alive and survive, Obama and his cadre would move heaven and earth. We had Bush's way in Katrina in New Orleans with the poor, mostly back people (from Haiti mostly?) and now Obamas' Haiti earthquake devestation. Show me the difference?

The next boondoggle came from the same program: In Landmark Campaign Finance Ruling, Supreme Court Removes Limits on Corporate Campaign Spending:
In a landmark decision, the Supreme Court rules corporations can spend unlimited amounts of money to elect and defeat candidates. One lawmaker describes it as the worst Supreme Court decision since the Dred Scott case justifying slavery.
This ruling is the Elitist's continued looting of the common American's right to participate freely in their government. They've already taken more money and actual value from the American people than any other Empire in history. Credit that to Mr. Hope why don't you?

American self-worth, the value that allows the people to believe in themselves and their country is almost bankrupt. The Arabs, China, Japan and Germany own this country. I guess this is the way the American corporations figured out how to survive this situation. Can't have a nation of liberal progressives screwing things up, you know.

Here's the latest update worth reading: What the Supreme Court got right by Glenn Greewald.

Now for the newspaper. Front page, Authorities: Arcata package contained a 'suspicious mechanical device' where our fearless, but psychotic and mostly gutless "Authorities" do everything to protect themselves at the or to the point of total rediculasness -- We got to err on safety first, you know"? -- found a "suspicious mechanical device" in a "suspicious package." RIGHT!  So the evacuate everyone with a ten mile radius and manage somehow to get the device out into the country withou evacuating hundreds more people and blow it up.

UPDATE: This is what the Times-Standard now posts on their website: 'Suspicious' package was a bicycle light'
The suspicious package that led to the evacuation of several homes and businesses in downtown Arcata turned out to be a bicycle light being returned to the place it was purchased, the Arcata Police Department said this afternoon.
My father, a WWII combat war veteran told me that on many occasions throught the German campaign men were shot and blownup on both sides of him. He credits his survival to the grace of God. However, the closest he came to actually dying was the night a close buddy of his suffering unbeknown to anyone from battle fatigue or more commonly known today as post-traumatic stress disorder. When you look at how these traumatized police officer act, you got to know we all got more to fear from them than any "bicycle light" as they err on "safety."

My next boondoggle report was this:
"Spared the wrecking ball: Kramer Properties purchases historic Old Town building with restoration plans."
Big hurry, for what?

This next article is more positive. Getting rid of the socialistic "red-tape" is always a plus:
"Eureka reels in the red tape."
Then there's James Faulk:
"An even keel." Maybe there's more to James than meets the eye. Either way . . .
By the time I got this far and had perused some of the local news-type blogs I was sufficiently depressed. It's so easy to be so c r i t i c a l . . .

This is a new year and a new decade and we had decided to be a bit more positive in our approach. Look for the hidden truth, the not-so-obvious and always try to inspire a little thinking. But then, who needs W O R D S to inspire anyone?

Boondoggles' Caboodle Means: do useless, wasteful, or trivial work or work of little or no value done merely to look busy. And, bunch: any collection in its entirety.

Defecating Dogs and Worthless Leash Laws

Defecating Dogs with their superior, arrogant masters together with the Editorial: "Honoring the fallen" seems appropriate, right?

I live in a fairly nice neighborhood, in a fairly nice home with mostly manicured lawns and nicely landscaped flower gardens. Since there isn't a lot of motor traffic, people love to walk and walk their dogs in the neighborhood. I rarely see a dog that is not leashed. What I do see are lots of piles of dog crap on my lawns. Wondering why, I began to pay attention. First, I noticed some of my neighbors turn their dogs loose at night and early morning. Other people, with leashed dogs let them use my laws for toilets and just walk away.

I've debated several options for dealing with this abuse. I figure deliberately letting your dog crap on my property is like spitting on me. You can't ignore the fact of what someone thinks of you when they do that, now can you? After rejecting most of my options, because they were probably illegal, I decided upon installing an automatic water system that would come on whenever there was a toilet call in progress. That way I could get both the human defecator and the dog defecator.

What's appropriate about the cartoon? Change the caption in the cartoon from, "My dog can go any where he wants." to "My army can go anywhere it wants." and I think you get my point.

Letting your dog crap on my property tells me exactly what you think of me and you don't even know me! But, I sure know you. If you ever wondered how people could live together for generations and then when they get the chance become genocidal to one another like they have in Iraq, well you don't have to look very far for reasons why.

Like leash laws there are littering and other appropriate laws dealing with unwanted dog crap and crappers, but that would require some law enforcement and I'm sure they've got more important things to do than cite people for dumping their garbage wherever the urge takes them.
