Americans need to Answer: When WillPalestinians get their Fourth of July?

Americans are commemorating the Fourth of July today, the anniversary of the
Declaration of Independence. 

The grievances that the four million inhabitants of British North America had in
1776 were not felt by them to be narrow or specific but rather universal, and so
too was the remedy. They laid against the government of King George III that it
was not serving the interests of its North American subjects. 

Thomas Jefferson wrote,

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” 

All human beings are created equal, the founders of the United States believed. 

That means that Palestinians, as human beings, are also created equal. The text
says “all.” 

Moreover, the Palestinians by virtue of being “men” (i.e. human beings) have
been endowed by God with the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 

The Palestinians do not have any of these rights, whether God wants them to or not. They were successively ethnically cleansed from their homeland of Palestine by militant Jewish settlers. (There were no Jews in Palestine to speak of as recently as 1800; Bonaparte found about 3,000 I think; Palestine was inhabited by Muslim and Christian Palestinians and as late as 1939 the British mandatory authorities envisaged a Palestinian state in 1949). Some 750,000 were expelled with no compensation and their land and property usurped in 1948. More tens of thousands were displaced in 1967. Their numbers have grown. Some 20 percent of Israel is remnants of the original Palestinian inhabitants, some 1.6 million persons. They are second class citizens in many ways.

But the some 4 million Palestinians who live in the West Bank and Gaza, and the
several hundred thousand living in Lebanese refugee camps, are living lives the
opposite of the ones Jefferson declared natural. They are stateless. In the West
Bank they live under Israeli military rule; there are a few civil institutions, but all
of these can be over-ruled by the whim of the Israeli army. Palestinians do not
control their land, water or air. In Gaza, the Israelis have put them under siege,
including the children and non-combatants in general. They aren’t allowed to
export virtually anything they produce. They have no port or airport (both
bombed by Israel). They suffer from massive unemployment and even
malnutrition. The Israelis have placed the Palestinians of Gaza in a huge open-air
concentration camp. With American and European help. 

In the phrase of Warren Burger, the stateless have no right to have rights. They
do not have the right to life, or liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. They may be
killed with impunity (the Israeli army has killed 9 Palestinians, including children,in its crackdown on the West Bank over the horrific kidnapping and killing
of three Israeli youth. The horrid character of the crime does not authorize Israel to
engage in collective punishment nor Israelis to act as vigilantes and deprive other
people of life or liberty.) 

So the Palestinians do not have a right to life. They have no liberty at all as the US
founding generation conceived it. And they certainly have no right to pursue
happiness. Their lives are constrained and made difficult by deliberate actions of
Israeli officials and officers and armed squatters on their land who torment them. 

The Declaration of Independence insists that people have a right to elect their
government. But Palestinians cannot elect the Israeli government, which actually
rules them (and they cannot elect the Lebanese or Syrian governments either,
where there are significant Palestinian refugee populations). The elections held
after the Oslo process have been undone by deliberate Israeli intransigence.
When Palestinians vote for the Palestine Authority, in any case, they are not
actually getting representation that matters. Unelected forces in Israel still control
their land, air and sea. 

When Palestinians elected a Hamas government in 2006, the Israelis disrupted it
and fomented a PLO coup against it. The Americans in 1776 said of King George,
“He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly
firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.” Palestinian parliamentarians
have been arrested in large numbers by Israeli soldiers on the West Bank. Some
are now again kidnapped. 

The early Americans were angry that King George III took away land at will, which
is something the Israelis routinely do to the Palestinians. They also minded that
he appointed the court judges. The Palestinians have no courts in which to
adjudicate their claims, being forced to litigate in front of unsympathetic Israeli
judges. 

Did the Americans mind that the king was “cutting off our Trade with all parts of
the world?” Israelis are doing that to the Palestinians. Were they angry at him
“for depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury”? The Israelis
arrest and hold people for a very long time without any judicial process. 

The remedy the early Americans applied to these problems, of rising up against
foreign occupying troops, is not available to Palestinians. The Israelis are too
strong, too well armed, and too backed to the hilt by the US Congress, many
members of which have more or less been bribed by pro-Israel donors. Opposing the Israeli occupation is routinely equated in the US to “terrorism,”even though Palestinians are the aggrieved party. But in any case, the Declaration of Independence does not say all men are created equal except those that have some violent people among them. And King George III saw the American revolutionaries as terrorists, too. 

The horrible thing is that US diplomacy and US taxpayers’ money is going
toward keeping the Palestinians stateless and without rights. Americans are
doing to a helpless people exactly the kinds of things they wouldn’t put up with
from King George III for themselves. 

Americans don’t have a responsibility to liberate everyone in the world. But they
do have a responsibility not to help Israel deprive Palestinians of their inalienable
rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The Godless Jew Reveals Itself

After 60 plus years of illegitimate occupation there can be no doubt what the Jew is. The Jews came into Palestine, took land by force of arms and then declared themselves a nation state. When the United States recognized their legitimacy they became the Nation of Israel we know today. The abject recognition and acceptance by the United States is revealed unworthy and legally unjustified. The United States, Briton and other states have demanded that all nations "recognize" Israel. Any nation that refuses is subjected to war. Israel never intended to recognize the Palestinians. The so-called "Two-State Solution" was a scam from the begininng to make the Palestinians believe that there is maybe some hope of being recognized as equal to the Jew. Legitimate nation-states that derive their power to exist from their people don't have to ask permission to be recognized. The Jew's refusal to recognize Palestinian legitimacy doesn't make or break the Palestinian right. The nation-state of Israel is, in and of itself, a statement of Palestinian rejection. The Jews have had more than 60 years to make peace with the world. It's obvious they never intended to recognize anyone's equality. If Israel, the U. S. and other nations continue to treat the Palestinian people as independent, then it is time they started acting like they are.

Enough. The Palestinians should now declare their independence

Could the Israeli government make it any more obvious they have no intention of sharing the Over-Promised Land with its other inhabitants?
This week the Obama administration – who give Israel $3bn a year, more than they dole out to any other nation on earth – made a meek and craven request for Israelis to simply have a pause in seizing even more land, and to sit down with the Palestinians. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded with a big concrete slap: the announcement of 1,600 more homes to be built on occupied Palestinian land from which Arabs will be forcibly kept out. He has made it plain he will not loosen his grip by an inch, announcing: "Even if [Palestinian President] Abu Mazen comes along and says he's ready to sign a peace deal on the spot, we will restore settlement construction to its previous levels." No compromise. Never.

How does this look to the Palestinians? Their story is so rarely explained without disinformation that it still seems startling when it is stated plainly. Until 1948, the Palestinians were living in their own homes, on their own land – until they were suddenly driven out in a war to make way for a new state for people fleeing a monstrous European genocide. They lived huddled and dazed in the 20 per cent of their land they were allowed to keep. They hardly fought back: they wept and dreamed of return. Then in the 1967 war, even these small strips were conquered with tanks and platoons.

When Self-Defense is No Defense

What is so difficult to understand about self-defense? America's legitimate right to exist was formulated and argued to the world in the original document, The Declaration of Independence. None of those arguments apply to the Zionist Jew. After 61 years the whole world sees Israel exactly for what it is. There is always hope for a just and sane world when a few are able to see what is and have the courage to speak up. Here's an example.

J. Porsley's “My Word” and Donald Edwards' letter bring out the dilemma Americans are facing. Like Mr. Edward, I am neither a Jew nor an Arab; but a Muslim of a type whose community feels much safer and freer in Israel than in many Muslim countries.

However, as an American, there is a reason for me, and for all of us, to analyze this conflict dispassionately. It has potential of starting an Armageddon the pain from which will be felt by everyone. A just solution is needed.

Hamas has no right to fire rockets and Israel has no right to continue to occupy the Palestinian lands. The assumption that Israel left Gaza is not genuine. Gaza is a high security prison with its borders, land, air and sea controlled by Israel. It is a human cage.

Israel has the right to defend itself and so have the Palestinians. If one can import planes, tanks, phosphorous bombs, and even possess nuclear weapons it is unjust to deny the same to the other party.

When Israel blocks the free inflow of food and medicines and the world stands by in awe of Israeli might, then the Palestinians have no alternative to digging tunnels to reach those necessities of life.

It is time to bring peace to both the sides and help the weak obtain justice. History shows that irrespective of religion unjust people and the connivers thereof are sooner or later seized by a terrible divine punishment.

Self-Defense is No Defense when you're accused being either evil, a criminal, or a terrorist. That would be when you are an enemy of the state. Enemy's of the state are anyone that doesn't go along with or objects to the states' right to enforce their will upon you in any way they see fit.

A good example of this are Zionist Jews deciding that they wanted legitimate recognition as a people to slow down their extermination, so they (a considerable number of them) all moved to Palestine to get the land they needed to become a nation and by force of arms imposed their will upon the Palestinian people. When the Palestinian people refused to submit or surrender their land they were accused of being a form of life that wasn't fit to occupy that sacred land anyway. We have 61 years of history to prove who is and is not fit to own or occupy that land.

An ancient Jew spoke about his people today, a people that wanted the same thing then as the Zionist Jews want today, when he said:

They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

The Antichrist Declares War On Majority Rights

On a sunny Sunday morning as I sat down to savor my morning brew, I was confronted with this Times-Standard headline: "A CHANGING LANDSCAPE" followed by, "Half of eucalyptus trees along Highway 101 corridor to be cut" and "The new civil rights movement." A changing landscape alright; a destructive change.

Here's your declaration of war right, from the mouths of civil terrorist:

Local businesses and individuals that contributed to the “Yes on 8” campaign were also targeted at Saturday's protest, with some speakers calling for boycotts.

”Support the businesses that supported us,” Susan McGee urged the crowd, drawing loud cheers of support.

Linda Atkins, who won a city council seat representing Eureka's 2nd Ward on Election Day, also urged those in the crowd to use their power as consumers to effect change.

”We have a big economic impact on this state -- let's use it,” she said.

Atkins told the crowd that the proudest moment of her life came when she recently married her wife at the Humboldt County Courthouse.

Included in this is the posting on the Humboldt Herald, for one, the names and addresses of those and I quote: "SUPPORTERS OF PROP H8te (ARCATA & EUREKA):"

The will of the people means nothing to the thug bully. All he or she cares about is getting his or her way. There's usually only one way to deal with bullies and these people, and I use the word "people" loosely, would be wise to remember that when they go military on their relatively peaceful neighbors.

It's one thing to take Democracy into other parts of the world and force them to convert, destroying their culture and religious beliefs held for thousands of years, depriving them or causing the to forfeit their legitimate right to exist. It is an all together different situation when you try to force a depraved sub-culture on your own people, destroying or at least trying to destroy the very basis for their and your existence.

These "people" are not interested in civil rights, or any other right you can think of. They want legitimacy and equality to all other members of society. Unfortunately, they are fighting a losing battle no matter how many people think or believe "these people" are endowed with unalienable Rights. That God or Universe our founding fathers believed granted all "people," excluding women, blacks and homosexuals of course, has spoken. A plague is upon them and they are a cancer in our society. When you vote such "people" into office you bring the very essence of corruption into halls of government. The lines are being drawn and drawn deeply.

So goes the eucalyptus trees, so goes the people; mostly young people, I'd say.

What Value Words of Truth?

America's legitimate right to stand or exist as nation co-equal to all other nation's on the earth including its patriarchal adversary, England and its aristocratic ruling monarchy, was founded on the legal premise expounded in the Declaration of Independence. These men, the architects of this long lost Republic, argued their right to overthrow the rule of a despotic parent that refused to recognise their offspring's right to legitimate existence did so by invoking God's recognition. Hence, these words:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Those men not only spoke and wrote such words, they put their lives on the line for treason for making such a Declaration. They didn't hope nor offer hope in some angry, senile old man or some word-hack spouting sanctimonious ideas about hope and trust in vague promises of a new direction.

If you need someone to tell you what to do, how to do it and to speak for you, take some time and read the book by an American historian and political scientist, Howard Zinn published in 1980, A Peoples History of the United States. Herein lies the history of a free people that knew how to speak for themselves and how to act for themselves.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." These words became their truth.

All men may have been created equal, but very few act like they are, actually believe that equality is a self-evident truth, with the rare exception of the kind of people Mr. Zinn wrote about, perhaps. Joe Blow, like he says, is just a nobody. So, he celebrates the Fourth of July the only way he knows how to celebrate life, like nobody, but like any first-class citizen, he votes with his feet.
