Suck Eggs, Eric Kirk

When I listened to Noam Chomsky on Democracy Now I thought about Eric Kirk and his plethora of corrupt and degenerate attitudes and disease-ridden filthy lies puked out on his blog, SoHum Parlance II, about the Palestinian people and their struggle to be recognized and accepted as such. "Hideous. Sadistic. Vicious. Murderous. That is how Noam Chomsky describes Israel’s 29-day offensive in Gaza that killed nearly 1,900 people and left almost 10,000 people injured." And literally decimated the infrastructure - leaving thousands homeless. That's how I describe Kirk and his supporters' war on the truth, and everything that is held decent and right in our society and community with their constant "repetition of the most vulgar Israeli propaganda."

Click here to watch Part 1 of the interview.
Click here to watch all of Part 2 of the interview.

Part 1 - NOAM CHOMSKY: It’s a hideous atrocity, sadistic, vicious, murderous, totally without any credible pretext. It’s another one of the periodic Israeli exercises in what they delicately call "mowing the lawn." That means shooting fish in the pond, to make sure that the animals stay quiet in the cage that you’ve constructed for them, after which you go to a period of what’s called "ceasefire," which means that Hamas observes the ceasefire, as Israel concedes, while Israel continues to violate it. Then it’s broken by an Israeli escalation, Hamas reaction. Then you have period of "mowing the lawn." This one is, in many ways, more sadistic and vicious even than the earlier ones.
Part 2 - NOAM CHOMSKY on BOB SCHIEFFER: Well, we don’t really have to listen to CBS, because we can listen directly to the Israeli propaganda agencies, which he’s quoting. It’s a shameful moment for U.S. media when it insists on being subservient to the grotesque propaganda agencies of a violent, aggressive state. As for the comment itself, the Israel comment which he—propaganda comment which he quoted, I guess maybe the best comment about that was made by the great Israeli journalist Amira Hass, who just described it as "sadism masked as compassion." That’s about the right characterization.
About the issue of "recognition," or refusal to recognize, that justifies the "destruction of Israel" as illegitimate - Something of which Eric Kirk is an expert.

AMY GOODMAN: But you hear repeatedly, Hamas has in its charter a call for the destruction of Israel. And how do you guarantee that these thousands of rockets that threaten the people of Israel don’t continue?
NOAM CHOMSKY: Very simple. First of all, Hamas charter means practically nothing. The only people who pay attention to it are Israeli propagandists, who love it. It was a charter put together by a small group of people under siege, under attack in 1988. And it’s essentially meaningless. There are charters that mean something, but they’re not talked about. So, for example, the electoral program of Israel’s governing party, Likud, states explicitly that there can never be a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River. And they not only state it in their charter, that’s a call for the destruction of Palestine, explicit call for it. And they don’t only have it in their charter, you know, their electoral program, but they implement it. That’s quite different from the Hamas charter. [Emphasis mine]
Suck eggs. When I think of a "egg-sucker" I think of a weasel or lying, deviate skunk. However, there is another meaning, quoting Wikipedia: "Teaching grandmother to suck eggs is an English language saying meaning that a person is giving advice to someone else about a subject that they already know about (and probably more than the first person." That's why I let Noam Chomsky do the talking.

The degradation and evil ways of the Zionist Jews and their ability to act with such deprivation and sadistic immoral beliefs and thinking that permeates their souls to the core did not happen in a day. It's been with them from the beginning as Golda Meir's statement attest. Quote: "We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children," she said, "but we can never forgive them for forcing us to kill their children." This is the most corrupt and depraved way of thinking and is the root of all war and violence. Yet local people seem to think they have that right. Another example of death-dealing thinking from dead souls.

The Bible's Jesus spoke of these Jews in his time, words of truth and wisdom that still apply to this day.
A Tree and Its Fruit "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. -Matthew 7:15-20.

The END

Once again, this would-be obsessed parasite has come to my Internet home to tell me what a wonderful person he “thinks” I am and how he plans to treat my family and me in the future. I can hardly contain myself. I can't tell you how long I've waited for this particular comment. With this threat, Mr. Stancliff crossed the line and changed the rules for the second time. From this day forward everything he posts to the Joe Blow Report blogs goes automatically in the trash.

I wonder if people, BULLIES like Dave Stancliff ever understand, it is NEVER about fear of them or their threats, it is fear of self. Problem is, Dave Stancliff has proven himself to be much more than just a run-of-the-mill Internet Bully. These people, as clearly demonstrated in everything Dave Stancliff has said throughout the Internet and on the Joe Blow Report, including his current conduct, manifests the exact rhetoric or language of a terrorist suicider. I say that, because that's what you are when you attack another man's family to get at him. The tragedy here, is that suicide bombers don't just crawl out from under a rock one day and decide to go try to hurt people - they develop over time. If Dave Stancliff ever had any credibility as a writer or any legitimacy as a human being all he had to do was let his work speak for him, stay out of or off of my Internet home and keep his mouth shut. It is rather difficult to libel and slander someone for defending yourself against their lies and unproven false accusations when they come to your home and personally assault you.

Highlighted here for posterity is Dave Stancliff's latest public comment, referenced below and posted on the other Joe Blow Report's latest observations “Fixation or Obsession?” in response to his previous comment referencing the article: Living With Dignity. Energetic Parasites look for any weakness or even a perception of some weakness as their way to bore in with their weasel words. These “weasel word” statements end here, enough is enough.

The purpose of these Joe Blow Report blogs are to present impartial, non-personal objective “OBSERVATIONS.” I refrain from writing personal, what we consider “worthless opinions” or conjecture. My goal is to remain impersonal and objective and let the facts speak for themselves. I write “anonymously” to avoid ego entanglements – to keep the “subject” separated from the “object.” We thought we'd done a pretty good job of staying objective until we had the misfortune to write about one of Dave Stancliff's As It Stands “opinions” published in the paper. Little did we know we'd uncovered one of the Anti-Christ' servants. He's tried to make our blog life hell ever since. Now he wants to make my family and my personal lives hell as well. I keep resisting him, but he just keeps coming back again and again. I gave him plenty of rope to demonstrate his true nature and he has, but that rope ran out today, Friday the 13th.  A rather appropriate day, I'd say.

I was reading Glenn Greenwald's Salon.com article, “How propagandists function: Exhibit A” where he says,
“This is what a propagandist, by definition, does: asserts any claim as fact in service of a concealed agenda without the slightest concern for whether it's true.”
Dave Stancliff, for the past year has come on this blog and demonstrated exactly how “a propagandist” operates in finite detail with each and everyone of his comments. He "asserts" claim after claim and NEVER produces the slightest proof to justify his worthless assertions. Look below. You won't find any. Just his "assertions" he claims are "facts." It's actually a thing of beauty if you have the stomach, patience and time to wade through the history of his ever evolving self-judgment.

For entertainment purposes, since this is the last time I intend to deal with this scummy crap that keeps getting deposited on this blog, lets entertain the first idea he spouts off about and see what it tells us about him. He says,
“Your biggest fear is having your real idenity [sic] revealed Joe.”
What supernatural power does he possess that allows him to know “my fears”? This is what makes Dave Stancliff a “would-be god,” his stated ability to tell me and everyone else what I think, how they should think and what they should believe because he can read our hearts. He really needs to go back to his Sunday, August 1, 2010, “As It Stands: 'I know I'm right' syndrome or being stupid and proud of it” and keep his own counsel.

If you don't know, the Anti-Christ is that really good looking guy that passes himself off as Jesus Christ and all things that Jesus stands for or embodies. What gives him away is he's the very antithesis of Jesus. He proves to be exactly what he is. He doesn't tell lies, he is, in fact, "a liar." The Anti-Christ proves to be a malicious slanderous murderous, liar and hypocrite. At least that's how he's partially defined in the Holy Bible. I'd say he sounds a whole lot like Glenn Greenwald's “Propagandist.”

Conspicuously posted on the Joe Blow Report's Home Page Sidebar is the following partial statement: “Please be aware that the Joe Blow Report speaks for itself. You may or may not agree, but just remember, that is your issue.” Remember, anonymous writers or bloggers are fictitious entities. They live and die by the integrity and credibility of what they write, NOT by who they are. So how does a pseudonym or a non-entity slander, stalk, harass and attack with malicious intent, etc. someone that lives and dies by who and what he or she is? The fact is, something that is nothing can not. The joke is on Dave Stancliff and always was. He is a real person and Joe Blow is not. And that is the reason Dave Stancliff is driven to try to put a living face on Joe Blow. He shows this foolishness and stupidity, because Joe Blow is timeless.

The ability to end whatever it is Dave Stancliff believes plagues him, his sickness, was always his to end anytime he wanted. He made his choice, and that's that.

The End.

Dave Stancliff Versus Joe Blow - Will it Ever End?

[UPDATE Below - Doesn't look like it...] [UPDATE I]

Sancliff: "Would you like me to interview you for a future column"?

On Wednesday, 23, 2010, the following comment came in from Dave Stancliff:
Dave said...

I've met, interviewed, and published columns on some fascinating people over the years Joe.

Would you like me to interview you for a future column? Seriously. I have a column coming up in August on a guy I met back in 1985. People love to read about people.

It would give you an opportunity to reach more people with your observations on people and life. As a blogger, you have demonstrated an interest in sharing your observations on issues.

I'm not dis-respecting you Joe.

If you have no desire to share your observations with a wider audience then that's up to you.

Another Answer – Another Offer

Guess what? Dave Stancliff DID NOT simply walk away. He really wants to know who writes the Joe Blow Report. Regardless of whatever Dave Stancliff believes, thinks or fantasizes, people like him never ever impressed me.

Well, I've been expecting a column on me or my type of blogging from Dave Stancliff anyway. This offer under different circumstances might even be intriguing. It could also be just a ruse to find out who writes this blog. Unfortunately, there's a couple of problems.

I'm not averse to identifying who the Joe Blow Report writer is if I thought we (Joe Blow and I) could continue to keep our objective, non-personal perspective WITHOUT getting into the same kind of a situation Dave Stancliff has subjected me (us) and this Report. I could identify myself, but then I'd probably have move to Brazil. Publicity? People and publicity comes with quality, when the product is worth reading, when it's something people are interested. Most people are just not used to a really impersonal, objective perspective.

Then there's Dave Stancliff, himself. What has he done lately, except make this offer, to cause me think he really cares about my interests? Even in this latest comment (above) he sets the tone for the way he really thinks about me. He says, as if to assure me: “I'm not dis-respecting you Joe.” Then notice the condescending, permissive and dismissive attitude where he's trying to tell me how to think and what to do: “If you have no desire to share your observations with a wider audience then that's up to you.” Like, if I don't take him up his rather expansive and generous offer, I'm somehow really just blogging as a excuse or a means to get at him for some “personal grudge.”

So, what would it take to resolve these “differences”? Probably for heaven and earth to move. Something just as hard for Dave Stancliff would be to reconcile all of his personal invectives and threats he's leveled at me for the past year or so. That would be a start. To do that he'd have to crawl down off that elitist stool he's perched on and stop trying to talk down to me and everyone else like he's some kind of opinionated, know-it-all jerk. When Dave Stancliff can show me and everyone else that he can accept people for who and what they are without recriminations or filthy accusations – when Dave Stancliff can prove to me and the rest of the world that he's a man worth of our respect, we'll talk.

Joe Blow: Until then he's irrelevant.

[UPDATE :: Monday, June 30, 2010]

I wonder how well Joe Klein and Dave Stancliff would get along?
It is extremely refreshing and heart-warming to see what good company I am in keeping.
For the record, Joe Klein is TIME's political columnist and author. Just like Dave Stancliff and the Times-Standard newspaper, what Joe Klein says in his Vacation Interruptus article in Time says more about the magazine's integrity and value as a legitimate media source than the small-minded invectives and ad hominem assaults of a Dark Age Joe Klein. Too bad these editors aren't smart enough to figure that out.

[UPDATE I :: Monday, June 30, 2010]
Now you can another, ''falsehood-spewing war propagandist" to the list. This one is  Jeffrey Goldberg is a national correspondent for The Atlantic. Another national media outlet.

Joe Blow Report Gets An Answer

[UPDATE Below :: Another Offer]

The Answer:
Dave said...

"Constant tirades" = constant non-constructive comments.

It's too bad you're so suspicious Joe. Meeting over coffee could have been beneficial to us both. We might have found out that we do actually have common ground on some subjects.

If you change your mind let me know. The offer still stands.

I really don't want to ask you to stop commenting on my stuff, because that's your right.

On the other hand, no one enjoys having a constant critic and not knowing why the person is so personal in their attacks against them.

In other words, try reversing our situation.
How would you feel if you were the writer being followed around by an unknown personal who appears to have a personal grudge against you?

You'd wonder why wouldn't you?

June 23, 2010 6:47 AM
I guess there wasn't as much respect here as you indicated, was there? The word “Tirades” is considerably different than “triads.” Perhaps, you should have just said it straight out: “constant non-constructive comments,” but then, thats not the definition of "tirades," is it? How is it that you can offer to sit down over coffee to ostensibly discuss differences "like civilized people" when YOU are constantly leveling personal uncivilized accusation at me? How many unsubstantiated accusations did you make in these two postings? Lets see...
1. Constant triads (tirades) – No examples. – Hint. Probably should have stayed with "triades."

2. Following your every move – implying some sinister criminal conduct.

3. Hoping to pick on something – implying some personal vendetta.

4. Tirades or constant non-constructive comments – No examples.

5. Constant critic – No examples.

6. So personal in their attacks – No examples.

7. Be followed around by unknown person - Personally following you around? – Paranoia.

8. Has a personal grudge against you – Personal grudge for writing about your "stuff"? – More paranoia.
And you expect to sit down with me or anybody else after making all these PERSONAL unsubstantiated accusations and discuss anything civilly? Your offer was disingenuous, you knew it and all I had to do was give a chance to show it. Civilized people do the works of civility. You show none of that here. If you really “wonder why,” then ask. It is as simple as that, if you were actually sincere. But then you would really have to accept my answer and recognize me and that is not something you are capable of doing, is it?

The more insidious aspect of what you've demonstrated right from your very first posting and elsewhere are your plethora of personal threats. Take it for what it's worth, you not knowing who I am is my personal gift to you. Remember, Mr. Stancliff, YOU changed the rules and continue to enforce them in these two latest postings personally directed to me. When I tell you that my observations are about what you write and NOT personally about you and you totally disregard me or even consider anything I tell you, then continue to insist that I have some PERSONAL issues with you and you'd like to know why, as if you are totally innocent and justified in everything you say and do, you demonstrate the symptoms of a conflicted, disparate sick person. Your persistence in enforcing the victim demonstrates a delusional persecution complex that severely delegitimizes you.

For the record, if I have a problem at all in this regard, it is with the Times-Standard newspaper and their so-called reporting. Frankly, some of these local reporters insult their readers with their so-called mainstream media type biased renditions. All you do is overtly exemplify what they do. That ill-serves this community and certainly doesn't speak very well of someone or something that is as longstanding in this community as that paper.

Finally, it is as you say, my “right” to comment on your “stuff” and that is all I did until you made it personal and tried to take away my “right.” Accept responsibility for your actions and simply walk away. Do that and there is no need to sit down together to discuss non-existent “differences.” Irregardless, you've made yourself irrelevant anyway.

Joe Blow Report Gets An Offer

Here's the offer posted in the comment section of Marijuana World Face below:
Dave said...
Joe,
why don't we get together for a cup of coffee and talk about our differences like civilized people?

Your constant triads tell me that you follow my every move hoping to pick on something.

It doesn't have to be like this Joe. Maybe if we meet, we can learn to respect each other more. What do you say?
I'll even come down to So Hum to meet with you at a coffee shop there.

June 22, 2010 9:19 AM

Dave Stancliff Makes An Offer

Get together over coffee (in a public place) to “talk about our differences like civilized people.” Just “like civilized people.” Like let bygones be bygones or no harm no foul? Sounds reasonable, right?

I wonder what those “differences” would be?

First, I'd have to know what “constant triads” are. Whatever it is he thinks they, these “triads” are telling him is of his own fabrication – making. Of course, trying to deny this accusation, that I've got some personal vendetta against him, is a waste of time. Which is a “difference,” unfortunately, that precludes personal one-on-one meetings.

Then there's the part about “learn to respect.” Actually it is, “learn to respect each other more.” So, that seems to indicate that Dave already has a certain measure of respect for me. That's good!

The question is, can we build on that? Why would I want to? What incentive do I have in losing my ability to keep this Report non-personal and objective? You know, if he really doesn't want this Report to comment on his “As It Stands” columns in the Times-Standard, perhaps, he should simply ask.

So, what do YOU say, Dave?

Newspaper -- Toilet Paper

Newspaper makes lousy toilet paper and toilet paper makes a lousy newspaper. Yet that's exactly what newspaper is -- and we've got toilet paper.

A functioning Democracy rests upon an informed voting public that, at the minimum has the capacity to think with an ability to separate the subject from the object and is endowed with some moral and ethical compass. Clearly, the 100 year (more or less) experiment to formulate "good citizens" rather than teach problem solving skills with the necessary tools for a decent sense of self that empowers one to use those tools has failed -- failed miserably. Or, did it?

For someone's point of world view beyond Joe Blow's observations, read the following:

The question:
What is your comment on the current mainstream media and how it shapes our perceptions and priorities?

The answer:
I don’t believe anything as changed. If it is one to change in the middle east as other parts of the world, I think one of the really significant and building areas of discussion- and data has been building for the last few years—is just the kind of information we get through the so- called mainstream. We have many alternative sources of information now, not least of all your own program. though I wouldn’t call that alternative.

But for most people, the primary source of their information is the mainstream. It is mainly television. Even the internet for all its subversiveness has still a very large component of the mainstream. And that means we’re getting still either its this singular message about wars, about the economy, about all those things that touch our lives. All we are getting is what I would call is a contrived silence, a censorship by a mission. I think this is almost the principal issue of today because without information, we cannot possibly begin to influence government. We cannot possibly begin to end the wars.

All of this, it seams to me, has come together in the presidency of Barack Obama who is almost a creation of this media world. He promised some things, although most of them were more for us, and has delivered virtually the opposite. He started his own war in Pakistan. We see the events in Iran and Honduras in quiet subtlety, but very directly influenced in the time-honored way by the Obama administration. And yet the Obama administration is still given this extraordinary benefit of the doubt by people, who in my view are influenced by the mainstream media. It is a time when I think, where either we are going to begin to understand how the media really works, or we’re going to let that opportunity pass. Its almost a historic opportunity the we understand that the perception of our world is utterly distorted, most of the time through what are seen as credible sources of information.

Read the rest of the interview with John Pilger.

A good example of this is Israel, Pilger says, "The way Israel is reported in the United States is media manipulation as almost as high art form."

But no one ever presses an Israeli leader. Netanyahu or Olmert or any of them. There are given, Israeli leaders were given a legitimacy during what was unconditionally a massacre in December-January of this year. And the sum of that was to suggest, number one, that there was a war between Israel and Gaza and there wasn’t. There was an assault on Gaza that was aimed at civilians, on a defenseless country, a helpless country, a trapped people. And the second impression was that, yes, Israel is a democracy. And we will discuss this on television with you, we will discuss the finer points.

The way Israel is reported in the United States is media manipulation as almost as high art form. When people like Netanyahu whose very utterances and his background would suggest somebody, I think safe to say not credible, but somebody of well, those of us who would say somebody would be a prima facie war criminal, is given this kind of legitimacy. Not even questioned, not even challenged about the events in this country and his own extreme utterances. ****

I think it is that legitimacy the mainstream media gives one side. And the sum of that, as far as Palestine is concerned is that there is no illegitimate occupation. There is no illegality. There is sum illegality as Obama referred to in his Cairo speech about the continuing building of settlements, but there is no suggestion that this is the longest, most brutal, illegal military occupation in our lifetime.
Why is any of this okay? Anyone read the Times-Standard for Tuesday, July 7, 2009? We've got a bankrupt creamery, a corrupt 20 year old county jailer, out of control homeless campfires spread around the Eureka area, and a convicted sex offender sentenced. On the inside we've got James Faulk's solution for humanities long-term survival - space travel. Included is an article by Byron York on Democrat double-speak on immigration. How appropriate!

Not to forget page A6, we got the headline, " ... the completion of border berm." Don't you just love the words they use for "steel-meshed fence and bright lighting"? Word manipulation, double-talk; double-speak propaganda à la the anonymous Associated Press.

Truth, honesty and integrity -- any part of someone's moral compass?

John Pilger writes on his web "johnpilger.com": 'It is not enough for journalists to see themselves as mere messengers without understanding the hidden agendas of the message and myths that surround it.'

Words this Report strives to emulate, but not without paying a heavy price.

Hate What Is Evil

“Hate What Is Evil. Hold on to what is good.” These are the Biblical words of a great student of Jesus Christ. Many people believe Jesus Christ to be the savior of all mankind. As such, Jesus said, “Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you, insult you, and slander your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.”

The Joe Blow Report, as is the writer, is dedicated to the above commandment. Hate what is bad, wicked and evil. The Bible defines these words in great length and proficiency. Jesus Christ once said, “But evil words come from an evil heart and defile the person who says them. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all other sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander.” Jesus equates lying and hatred of brother with murder.

So, if the Joe Blow Report was to hate anything, it would be malicious lying and slander. Notice I did not say “malicious liars and slanderers.” Realize, however, that you cannot have malicious lying without malicious liars. If a person is proven to tell a lie, then that person is a proven liar. One of the purposes of this blog is to ferret out the truth of issues, not people. However, sometimes it is rather hard to separate the two when people insist upon enforcing their own personal opinions as fact or truth on others. Even so, identifying a proven liar is not “name calling.”

It is for this reason that the two Joe Blow Reports stand on their own merits and speak in behalf of themselves and not for or in behalf of the writer. In other words, what is written is the subject and the writer is the object. The Joe Blow Report is written by Joe Blow, an essential John Doe, and is totally about the subject. The legitimacy and credibility of these Reports are garnered or earned in and of themselves, and bear no basis on who or what the writer might be. This is similar to newspaper editorials. Most people, I'm sure don't know who wrote the editorial, probably don't even care; I don't. All they know is that the newspaper says it. Thus it doesn't take readers long to understand where the “newspaper” stands on relevant issues. Whether we agree or disagree is irrelevant to our continued reading of the newspaper. As long as that paper continues to meet the standard by which we purchased that paper, we shall continue to read it. That standard, by the way, is what the paper says it is committed to doing as a paper and then actually does.

What is needed to know about Joe Blow is put forth for all to read. Suffice to know that he and his family have a vested interest in this community and in this country that is generational. Members of my family fought honorably and some died defending the rights expect of all Americans. To demean this Constitutional inheritance is to denigrate the value of their sacrifices. Strong words and powerful ideas do not equate anger, threats, hostility, paranoia, or even hatred. Neither do words of truth. Yet, in conclusion, the history of Jesus Christ tells a different story: “The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

That didn't seem to stop members of his peers from trying to personally denigrate and insult him, or try to murder him because truth assaulted their lies and malicious intent. The Joe Blow Report and it's writer hardly meet the standard of Jesus Christ. We do, however, attest to the fact that what he said is the truth.

IRAN - Smarter Than the Average Bear

Yep! They know a slicker when they see one.

Even Yogi knew a rat when he smelled one.

Did Yogi smell an "overture"? Joe doesn't thinks so.

You can read it here: Iran's supreme leader dismisses Obama overtures

"They chant the slogan of change but no change is seen in practice. We haven't seen any change," Khamenei said in a speech ..."

"Have you released Iranian assets? Have you lifted oppressive sanctions? Have you given up mudslinging and making accusations against the great Iranian nation and its officials? Have you given up your unconditional support for the Zionist regime? Even the language remains unchanged," Khamenei said.

For its part, the Obama administration must take practical steps such as lifting a ban on selling Iran spare parts for passenger aircraft or considering unfreezing Iranian assets in the U.S., (a prominent political analyst Saeed) Leilaz said.

"They say we have stretched a hand toward Iran. ... If a hand is stretched covered with a velvet glove but it is cast iron inside, that makes no sense," Khamenei said.

A Lebanon perspective: Dialogue of the Deaf
The following is an excerpt:

It is for this reason that the Iranians want "deeds" in addition to words from Obama. They are intelligent enough to notice the change in the type of discourse Obama is adopting with them. But what comes after this? Can the black President offer them the apologies which they demand, for more than half a century of the US dealing with them badly, from toppling Mossadegh to protecting the Shah to supporting Saddam Hussein in his war against them? In other words, can he erase half a century of the history of the country that chose him as its President?

The new US President wants to give the impression that his policies are different from those of his predecessor. But a change in the language of discourse on the part of the White House will have no effect if it is not accompanied by a change in the type of response to such discourse on the part of the recipients of US messages. Without this such discourse would become a dialogue of the deaf, which is what currently seems to be taking place between Washington and Tehran

On the one hand, there is a tendency on the part of the Obama Administration to put an end to previous conflicts and to deal with international crises with a new mindset. On the other, such a step is being interpreted as the result of the defeat of the US's plans, which entails that such a defeat should be exploited by Iran, and that it should strengthen its influence in the places where it feels it has achieved victory. Obama's problem with Iran is that he is not willing to submit to such Iranian victories, nor do his country's interests allow him to do so. [For the complete article.]

Eureka SWAT - Business As Usual?

If this doesn't give every law-abiding conscientious homeowner in Humboldt County pause for thought, I don't know what will.

Yeah! We know. It's carte-blanche for the police when it comes to the proliferating criminal element and all the low-life scummy trash-types. But, what happens when you're not a criminal, never were a criminal and support the law, judicious law enforcement and believe in the universal right to self-defense and someone falsely accuses you? Now it's open season on you buddy! You, your family and your poor dog, if you're unlucky enough to have one or two.

Maryland Senate Holds Hearings on SWAT Transparency Bill

Last week, the Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee held hearings on a new bill that would require every police agency in the state with a SWAT team to issue quarterly reports on how often the teams are deployed, why they were deployed, what happened during the warrant service, and what was found. It is a small but vital step toward allowing for a proper assessment of just how often paramilitary-style tactics are being used in Maryland, how often things go wrong, and whether they’re being used as advertised.

Several witnesses at the hearing described yet more terrifying wrong-door raids, in cases never before reported.

Karen Thomas told the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee that she heard Howard County police shoot and kill her dog in her Ellicott City living room in September 2007, while she lay upstairs on the floor, surrounded by police who had not identified themselves.

“In my mind, terrorists had just killed my son and they were going to kill me next,” she told committee members.

Thomas said that police were searching for drugs, but none were found…
Choking back tears, Boyd Petit told committee members that during an April 2008 raid on his Highland home, a police tactical team had handcuffed him and his family outside his home, at gunpoint and in front of his neighbors, while other officers searched his house.

“Our collective lives flashed before our eyes,” he said.

Petit claimed the raid on his house was prompted by a former customer, who made false allegations about him to police. He said police were searching for a specific weapon, but it was not found.

Right now, it looks like the bill will get through committee. It’s being pushed by Cheye Calvo, the Berwyn Heights, Maryland mayor who was subjected to a particularly violent but mistaken raid on his home. (Compliments of the Agitator)

The Jew Agenda Comes Clear

Finally, we begin to see the Zionist Jew's true intentions regarding Israel. They made their move in 1948, but were unable to sustain their intent to completely eradicate the Palestinian people from their lands. As noted in previous posts, the Zionist Jew began to wage war on the civilian people to force the Palestinians to submit to or go along with the Jew's right to take their land by force or without any compensation. The so-called decades old "peace process" was nothing more than a ruse to allow the Jews time to take more Palestinian land by build illegal settlements. The two-state solution merely furthered that ruse for another decade. Neither Israel nor the United States ever intended to recognize Palestinian legitimacy that comes with statehood.

Another Update :: Wednesday, February 25, 2009

Israel's targeting of civilian resistance to the separation wall proves the two-state solution is now just a meaningless slogan - The Report has maintained this from the beginning. Nice to have some confirmation.

Fraud in the Holy Land - Independent versus Sovereign State

"Writing in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Israeli journalist Gideon Levy says: “Netanyahu’s election is likely to bring the curtain down on the great fraud… the lie of “negotiations” and the injustice of the “peace process.” Israel consistently claimed these acts proved the nation was focused on peace and the end of the occupation. All the while, it did everything it could to further entrench the occupation and distance any chance of a potential agreement.

For 16 years, we have been enamored with the peace process. We talk and talk, babble and prattle, and generally feel great about ourselves; meanwhile the settlements expand endlessly and Israel turns to the use of force at every possible opportunity, aside from a unilateral disengagement which did nothing to advance the cause of peace.
”
The truth defines itself - 61 years of undisputed history speaks.

It's become quite obvious today that with the election and continued support by a majority of Palestinian people for a Hamas government, or at least
a national unity government that includes Hamas, that these people will not totally go along with Israel's right to their 61 years of visceral rape. The only solution for the Jew is to finally cut the Palestinian throat. Right at this moment the knife is already moving with the starvation of 1.5 million Gaza refugees. Fata and Abbas think they've cut a deal with Israel to survive, but all they've done is expose their treason. Israel will deal with them equally, regardless.

In the aftermath of Israeli elections, one way or another, Israel's latest vote count puts the Right Wing, neo-fascist in control. According to Neve Gordon, a professor of politics and government at Ben-Gurion University and the author of Israel’s Occupation, as reported on Democracy Now, this is the trend even with the younger generation.

What we see in—before the elections, that in all the high schools in Israel, Lieberman was the leading party in [inaudible] votes. So we see that the younger generation is supporting these neo-fascist tendencies. And we cannot blame the schools from it, but we have to blame the whole atmosphere in Israel, which is indeed a racist atmosphere, an anti-Arab atmosphere, anti-Palestinian Arab atmosphere. And Lieberman, what he has learned to do well is to feed on the hatred and the fear of the Arabs, to use a xenophobic method. And this is extremely dangerous. And to tell you the truth, I fear for Israel. I fear for the citizenry in Israel. And I think we are in a watershed moment in Israeli politics.
Mustafa Barghouti, independent Palestinian lawmaker and democracy activist lays out a far worse situation.

This is a very serious shift, but not only to the right; this is a shift to racism. In my opinion, in these elections, Israel has completed the transformation into an apartheid state with an apartheid racist political system.

And this is the outcome of two processes. One is the implantation of fear and hatred in the Israeli society by the Israeli establishment. The army is a big part of that establishment, and the military-industrial complex is a second big part. And the second factor has been the complicity of the international community. The United States administration, previous administration, the European governments, the whole official international community has been complicit with Israeli crimes, war crimes in Gaza and in other places, and silent about forty-one years of occupation. So, basically, people in Israel think they can do what they want. If they violate human rights in such a terrible manner and nobody is objecting, I think they think they can move forward towards racism and an apartheid system, and that is unfortunately the case today.

In addition to what was said about practically the Likud racist approach dominating the whole scene, with Livni and Netanyahu—and here I would agree that there aren’t much differences between the two. Maybe you can say that both of them are racist. Only, Netanyahu is a blunt racist, and Livni is a racist with some makeup. But they both represent the same. [ ... ]

In my opinion, we have reached a very critical moment, and that’s why these elections are of great importance, because the bringing in of racist tendency in Israel and this whole extreme coalition into the Israeli government, which would be the case, is happening exactly at a moment when we are about to lose the last opportunity of two-state solution, because of the growth of settlements, because of the fragmentation of the West Bank, because of the consolidation of a situation where Palestinians practically live now in bantustans and ghettos. And they’re in a situation where, after fifteen years of the creation of the Palestinian Authority, the only road open for it by Israel is to become only a security sub-agent for occupation and something like Vichy government in a bantustan entity. That is the risk. And that’s why this is dangerous, not only because it is against peace, but also it is like the last hit in the direction of killing the final or the last opportunity of two-day solution. [ ... ]

I would like to emphasize here that I believe that the last war on Gaza, plus other things that the Israeli government did jointly with the Bush administration, was nothing but an effort to create a preemptive strike against the Barack Obama administration. That was clear in the Resolution 1850, which tried to restrict the peace process only to the failing Annapolis process. And that was clear in the war and intensification of tension in the region, to prevent, in my opinion, peaceful dialogue with Syria and Iran that Barack Obama wants to have and to obstruct a fast and quick withdrawal from Iraq. But finally, that agreement that was concluded between Livni and Rice, in the very last hours before Rice left her position, was also a preemptive strike against this administration. [ ... ]

That agreement was that the United States and NATO will be providing guarantees to Israel and provide protection to the occupying force, being Israel, and to prevent the resistance of the Palestinian people who are under occupation. So this is the first time in human history where, from one side, the people under occupation in West Bank are supposed, through this huge security apparatus, which is consuming 34 percent of our budget, depriving us from healthcare and education—the Palestinian Authority is supposed to provide protection to its occupiers, and the world community has to provide protection to the occupying force of Gaza, in this case the Israeli occupying force. [ ... ]

And maybe these results of elections in Israel will show everybody the time has come for a real change in the American policy. Every value that President Obama spoke about—values of respect of human rights, of democracy, of respect for Geneva Convention, avoiding torture, justice, equality, equal opportunity—every value of those are violated by Israel.
So, there you have it. The picture, the truth about Zionist Israel's legitimate right to exist, is getting clearer and clearer. President Barack Obama will not do what is necessary to preserve the Jewish state or try to protect his or America's integrity, what little bit that's left. Certainly, now when he's bombing innocent civilian people in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Zionist Israel is revealing itself to be exactly what it is. No civilized people wages war on defenseless and innocent women and children, for any reason. The Universe has wiped out whole civilizations for such crimes. Perhaps they should have seriously tried to make peace with the Palestinian people, recognize their legitimate right to exist along with everyone else, when they had the chance.

When Self-Defense is No Defense

What is so difficult to understand about self-defense? America's legitimate right to exist was formulated and argued to the world in the original document, The Declaration of Independence. None of those arguments apply to the Zionist Jew. After 61 years the whole world sees Israel exactly for what it is. There is always hope for a just and sane world when a few are able to see what is and have the courage to speak up. Here's an example.

Israeli-Palestinian problem can destroy the world peace
Letter to the editor
Posted: 02/03/2009 01:16:28 AM PST

J. Porsley's “My Word” and Donald Edwards' letter bring out the dilemma Americans are facing. Like Mr. Edward, I am neither a Jew nor an Arab; but a Muslim of a type whose community feels much safer and freer in Israel than in many Muslim countries.

However, as an American, there is a reason for me, and for all of us, to analyze this conflict dispassionately. It has potential of starting an Armageddon the pain from which will be felt by everyone. A just solution is needed.

Hamas has no right to fire rockets and Israel has no right to continue to occupy the Palestinian lands. The assumption that Israel left Gaza is not genuine. Gaza is a high security prison with its borders, land, air and sea controlled by Israel. It is a human cage.

Israel has the right to defend itself and so have the Palestinians. If one can import planes, tanks, phosphorous bombs, and even possess nuclear weapons it is unjust to deny the same to the other party.

When Israel blocks the free inflow of food and medicines and the world stands by in awe of Israeli might, then the Palestinians have no alternative to digging tunnels to reach those necessities of life.

It is time to bring peace to both the sides and help the weak obtain justice. History shows that irrespective of religion unjust people and the connivers thereof are sooner or later seized by a terrible divine punishment.

Abdul Aziz
Self-Defense is No Defense when you're accused being either evil, a criminal, or a terrorist. That would be when you are an enemy of the state. Enemy's of the state are anyone that doesn't go along with or objects to the states' right to enforce their will upon you in any way they see fit.

A good example of this are Zionist Jews deciding that they wanted legitimate recognition as a people to slow down their extermination, so they (a considerable number of them) all moved to Palestine to get the land they needed to become a nation and by force of arms imposed their will upon the Palestinian people. When the Palestinian people refused to submit or surrender their land they were accused of being a form of life that wasn't fit to occupy that sacred land anyway. We have 61 years of history to prove who is and is not fit to own or occupy that land.

An ancient Jew spoke about his people today, a people that wanted the same thing then as the Zionist Jews want today, when he said:
They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Eat This Eric Kirk - SoHum Parlance

Latest Addendum :: Wednesday, February 11, 2009

Joe Blow Calls Eric Kirk Names BAD! BAD!

Click the link and it will take you to his blog thread. Then you tell me who was doing the name-calling. Everything he said in response to my posts were derogatory, excoriating, insulting and abusive. Here you will find the classic example of what Jesus Christ was talking about when he said to NOT cast pearls before pigs or holy to dogs. “Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip you open.”

I call his blog a WHOREHOUSE because that's just what it is. (Of course, you know what that makes him.) He invites you in to share in his communion and the next thing you know you've been communing with a sick whore. In other words they've enticed you into making an agreement with them that they have the right to say anything they want about you, to denigrate, abuse, and tell you what kind of a human being they think you are and expect you to go along with their judgments. Then, if you should try to defend yourself from these kinds of people, people Jesus Christ calls "pigs" and "dogs" you're accused of calling them "names." "Hypocrites" and "liars" is something Jesus Christ called the same kind of whoremongers. If it was good enough for Jesus Christ is certainly is good enough for me.

You know why Jesus called these kinds of people "pigs" and "dogs" don't you? Because pigs wallow in their own crappy sewer and dogs return to eat their own vomit. Jesus identified these kinds of people as carnal, non-humans because that is their manifest personality; they think and act like rabid, vicious animal. The Dictionary defines vicious as:
1. addicted to or characterized by vice; grossly immoral.
2. given or readily disposed to evil.
3. reprehensible; blameworthy; wrong.
4. spiteful; malicious: vicious gossip; a vicious attack.
5. unpleasantly severe.
6. characterized or marred by faults or defects; faulty; unsound: vicious reasoning.
7. savage; ferocious.
8. (of an animal) having bad habits or a cruel or fierce disposition.
All in all, Joe figures he keeps good company. Jesus Christ wasn't popular with these same kinds of people either. He certainly wasn't averse to telling people or calling them for what they were when they were arrogant, self-righteous hypocrites, vipers, blind guides, liars, or whitewashed graves .

That's what you'll find on Eric Kirk's SoHum Parlance II. Do beware!

“When leaders of competing Palestinian factions make maximalist claims to appeal to hardline constituencies, it’s extremism. But when Israeli leaders do it, it’s politics. If the goal of the U.S. and Israel is to strengthen Palestinian moderates like Abu Mazen against Hamas — and people keep telling me that’s the goal — it’s hard to see how this helps.”
Livni Promises To ‘Maintain Maximum Settlers’»

Israeli Foreign Minister Backtracks On Commitment To Force Jewish Settlers Out Of The West Bank»

President Obama has said that an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal is going to be a top priority for his administration. During an interview with Al-Arabiya last week, Obama said the Israel-Palestine issue is “interrelated” with “what’s happening” throughout the region. He also offered support for the so-called two-state solution. “I think it is possible for us to see a Palestinian state,” Obama said, adding, “But it is not going to be easy.”

No it will not be easy. As CBS reporter Bob Simon noted on 60 Minutes last week, “hundreds of thousands” of Jewish settlers would have to withdraw from the West Bank for it, along with the Gaza Strip, to be part of a Palestinian state. But also during Simon’s report, this two-state

solution may have received a small boost. Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who is in the running to become the country’s next prime minister, told Simon — bluntly — that in order to achieve peace and advance a Palestinian state, the Israeli government would force the settlers to leave the West Bank:

SIMON: Can you really imagine evacuating the tens of thousands of settlers who say they will not leave?

LIVNI: It’s not going to be easy, but this is the only solution.

SIMON: But you know that there are settlers who say, “We will fight. We will not leave. We will fight.”

LIVNI: So this is the responsibility of the government, of the police to stop them, as simple as that. Israel is a state of law and order.

This is the end . . .

If you want to know why there is no prospect for peace, just read what this guy has to say. The root cause of the problem is right there for anyone to see that cares to look. The problem has absolutely nothing to do with a difference of opinions. It has everything to do with that woman and this guy, Tzipi Livni and Benjamin Netanyahu and all their kind.

The corrupt continue to pervert as the noose tightens around the collaborators.

Olmert approves transfer of NIS 170 million to Gaza Strip
Just hours after a top Hamas official was caught by Egyptian authorities trying to smuggle millions of dollars and euros into the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert gave permission for the Palestinian Authority to transfer NIS 170 million from the West Bank to Gaza to pay government officials there.

The Prime Minister's Office said it agreed to transfer the funds in accordance with a request by PA Prime Minister Salaam Fayad.

The officials to be paid are mostly Fatah members.

Israel seizes Gaza freighter
Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora condemned the action.

"Those who commit massacres against innocent civilians in Lebanon and Gaza will not stop themselves from assaulting, in front of the world, a ship carrying humanitarian supplies," he said. "I express my utmost condemnation for this blatant attack."

The Roots of War

Mr. Bronner lays out a very revealing commentary about the disparaging ways of thinking that justifies Zionist Israel's right to exist and defend that existence in any way they so choose. Mr. Bronner and The Joe Blow Report share a common reality; life's experiences speak to the truth. Judgmental, worthless opinions expounded as false, lying accusations used to establish one's illegitimate right to exist by controlling, compromising and occupying their neighbor's space, can only produce war. Mr. Bronner defines these "roots" this way: "...because their belief in their own view is so overpowering that anything that contradicts it becomes a minor detail."

Gaza Notebook - Bullets in my In-Box
By ETHAN BRONNER
Published: January 24, 2009 by the New York Times

GAZA — Faisal Husseini, a Palestinian leader who died at the start of this decade, used to tell a story about his first visit to Israel. The 1967 war had just ended, borders were suddenly opened and he took a drive to Tel Aviv, where at some point he found himself detained by an Israeli policeman. Questions and answers ensued. At one point the policeman said to him, “As a proud Zionist, I must tell you ....” At which Mr. Husseini burst out laughing.

What’s so funny? the policeman asked. “I have never in my life,” Mr. Husseini replied, “heard anyone refer to Zionism with anything but contempt. I had no idea you could be a proud Zionist.”

I have written about the Arab-Israeli conflict on and off for more than a quarter-century and have spent the past four weeks covering Israel’s war in Gaza. For me, Mr. Husseini’s story sums up how the two sides speak in two distinct tongues, how the very words they use mean opposite things to each other, and how the war of language can confound a reporter’s attempts to narrate — or a new president’s attempts to mediate — this conflict in a way both sides can accept as fair.

Among Israel’s Jews, there is almost no higher value than Zionism. The word is bathed in a celestial glow, suggesting selflessness and nobility. But go anywhere else in the Middle East and Zionism stands for theft, oppression, racist exclusionism.

No place, date or event in this conflicted land is spoken of in a common language. The barrier snaking across and inside the West Bank is a wall to Palestinians, a fence to Israelis. The holiest site in Jerusalem is the Temple Mount to Jews, the Noble Sanctuary to Muslims. The 1948 conflict that created Israel is one side’s War of Independence, the Catastrophe for the other.

After Israel’s three-week air, sea and land assault in Gaza, aimed at halting Hamas rocket fire, it is worth pausing to note how difficult it has been to narrate this war in a fashion others view as neutral, and to contemplate what that means for any attempt by the new Obama administration to try to end it.

It turns out that both narration and mediation require common ground. But trying to tell the story so that both sides can hear it in the same way feels more and more to me like a Greek tragedy in which I play the despised chorus. It feels like I am only fanning the flames, adding to the misunderstandings and mutual antagonism with every word I write because the fervent inner voice of each side is so loud that it drowns everything else out.

George Mitchell, the former Senate majority leader who is Mr. Obama’s new special envoy to the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, could find something similar when he arrives here.

Even though an understanding crystallized a decade ago over the outline of an eventual solution here — Israel returning essentially to its 1967 borders and a Palestinian state forming in the West Bank and Gaza — the two sides’ narratives have actually hardened since attempts to reach a peace foundered.

So Mr. Mitchell, who once led a commission tasked with finding a solution to the conflict, will begin this latest effort grappling with two separate wars fought here, based on two very different sets of assumptions.

Opponents of Israel feel the Gaza fighting has demonstrated (again) everything they have always believed — that Israel is a kind of Sparta that dehumanizes the Palestinians and will do anything to prevent their dignified self-determination. The ways in which Israel attacked — the overwhelming force, the racist graffiti left on walls — are what one has come to expect of that state, they say; those Hamas rockets were no challenge to the Israeli military behemoth, and, after all, who could blame the resistance fighters for launching them to protest the blockade and everything else about Israel’s longstanding occupation?

Those for whom Israel is the victim and never the aggressor likewise saw in this war a reaffirmation of their beliefs — that Hamas, an Islamist terror group, hides its fighters behind women and children; that Israel’s army was an exemplar of restraint and respect, holding its fire when civilians were in sight, allowing tons of humanitarian aid in even while at war (what other army would be so decent?).

Abroad, people care deeply about this conflict. That should make it easier for a reporter to cover, because the actors and place names and history are familiar. But it turns out that like the actors themselves, the audiences have utterly distinct and contrasting sets of assumptions. Every time I fail to tell the story each side tells itself, I have failed in its eyes to do my job. That adds up to a lot of failure.

What’s more, the competing war narratives are part of a larger narrative disconnect.

One side says that after thousands of years of oppression, the Jewish nation has returned to its rightful home. It came in peace and offered its hand to its neighbors numerous times only to be met with a sword. Opposition to Israel, this side argues, stems from Muslim intolerance, nationalist fervor and rank anti-Semitism, all fed by envy at the young state’s success. Every time I write an article about the conflict that does not mirror this story line — if, for example, I focus on Palestinian suffering or alleged Israeli misdeeds or quote a human rights group like Amnesty International — I have proven myself to be a secret sharer with the views of the enemy.

As one recent complainer wrote, “To read your paper, all the questions and criticism are directed at Israel, and it is all based on a collection of anti-Semitic organizations masquerading as humanitarians.”

The other side tells a different story: There is no Jewish nation, only followers of a religion. A group of European colonialists came here, stole and pillaged, throwing hundreds of thousands off their land and destroying their villages and homes. A country born in sin, Israel has built up an aggressive military with help from Washington in the grips of a powerful Jewish lobby.

Every time I fail to allude to that story — when, for example, I examine Israel’s goals in its Gaza war without implicitly condemning it as a massacre, or write about Israel in ways that do not call into question its legitimacy — I have revealed my affiliation and can no longer be trusted as a reporter.

Since the war started on Dec. 27, I have received hundreds of messages about my coverage. They are generally not offering congratulations on a job well done.

“Thanks to you and other scum like yourself,” said one, “Israel can now kill hundreds and you can report the whole thing like it was some random train wreck.”

“Bronner ,” said another, “you’re back to your usual drivel about only the poor filthy Arabs — who voted for the Hamas people who got them into this predicament — with incessant indiscriminate rocket fire on innocent Israelis.”

There are also blogs and chat sites on both sides that spend time accusing all the journalists here of having agendas because our articles mention facts or trends that they consider a diversion from the real story.

Because Israel barred foreign journalists from entering Gaza until the war ended, The New York Times relied on my Palestinian colleague here, Taghreed el-Khodary, for on-the-ground coverage of the fighting.

We would speak several times a day as she cautiously went out. Her first stop was usually Shifa Hospital to get a sense of civilian casualties. Early in the war, at the hospital, she witnessed the murder of an alleged Israeli collaborator by Hamas gunmen. They shot him in the skull more or less in front of her. One of the gunmen told Taghreed that she should never mention what she saw to anyone. She told him there was not a chance she would stay silent, then made some calls to find out about other such events and sent me the information, which we published the next day.

A couple of Arab bloggers went after Taghreed with the worst insult they could come up with — Zionist. She was a Palestinian Uncle Tom doing the bidding of her white-man bosses at a newspaper that, as one reader said in an e-mail message, “is fully complicit in the atrocities that Israel commits against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. You make it sound guiltless and reasonable. That’s your assignment.”

At the same time, Israeli officials and their backers declared that keeping reporters out of Gaza was the right move because no independent journalism could possibly occur in an area run by Hamas, which controls every utterance here. Have any of these people ever read Taghreed’s work? Or any of our work out of here?

Many have but it doesn’t matter because their belief in their own view is so overpowering that anything that contradicts it becomes a minor detail. As another reader put it, “Basically, you are aiding terrorists and causing the increase in bloodshed while telling one-sided stories, totally ignoring the whole picture.”

He did say one thing I agree with: “You should not be a reporter if you are not telling the whole story, not just the parts that sell.”

I would offer a mediator the same advice.
