The following is a terrorist's rational for butchering helpless women and children. I'm posting the commentary of Joshua Hantman, senior adviser to Israel’s ambassador to the United States in it's entirety as spoken on Democracy Now. It is his kind of beliefs that enunciates the thinking that condemns and judges the Jew by Universal Law as unfit and illegitimate to live on this Earth. The barbarity spoken here is gut-wrenching sick. The Bible's Peter says regarding such people: "By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men." (2 Peter 3:7 NIV) Hantman and his bloody Jews are living epitome of "ungodly men."

The Jews, call them Zionist, Israelis, whatever you want - to me they are all illegitimate humans unfit to populate this Earth. They are a malignant cancer killing all humanity. Their grand scheme as terrorists was to eradicate the land of Palestine of its local population for themselves; setting themselves up with their own sovereign nation called Israel. With the help of another terrorist nation that was successful in doing the same thing, they managed to take some of the land, but could not justify the butchery required to exterminate the Palestinians, so they waged a 66 year war on the Palestinian people to get them to try to defend themselves - commit acts of aggression in self-defence - that the Jews could use as justification for their genocide. The Jews in 66 years never stopped killing Palestinian people. Nor did they ever stop trying to get the Palestinian people to justify their right to kill them - read Joshua Hantman below.

As Palestinian Deaths Top 100, Who’s to Blame for Escalating Violence? What Can Be Done?

JOSHUA HANTMAN: Well, let’s be clear: Israel is currently under attack. I mean, the professor talked about occupation right now. Let me remind you that Israel actually left the Gaza Strip in 2005. We removed all of our settlements. We removed the IDF forces. We took out 10,000 Jews from their houses as a step for peace, because Israel wants peace and it extended its hand for peace. That was in 2005. Since 2005, over 8,000 rockets, missiles and mortars have been indiscriminately fired at our civilians.

Now, the professor also talked about human rights and about international law. Hamas, the internationally recognized terrorist organization, controls the Gaza Strip. They are hiding behind civilians while firing at our civilians. Let me remind you that just yesterday the Hamas interior minister—the Hamas Interior Ministry, they called for their people, for their civilians, to act as human shields. Their spokesperson also came out and said, "Come and act as human shields," because while we mourn every civilian death on both sides, Hamas celebrates civilian deaths.

I blame Hamas for every civilian death, because while we send text messages and phone calls and even put warning shots in the areas where we’re going to try and take out the terrorist infrastructure and the particular terrorists, Hamas fire from mosques, they fire from next to houses, they fire from schools. They keep their missiles and their rockets in the basements of houses. This is a double war crime. They are firing at our civilians indiscriminately. I mean, they fired yesterday towards Jerusalem, OK. They’re firing at Jerusalem indiscriminately. What would happen if one of these rockets landed in an Arab area in Jerusalem? Or if, God forbid, it hit a holy site of the Muslims? It’s indiscriminate fire. It’s a war crime. I actually spoke to a lawyer yesterday who told me there are five or six war crimes that Hamas is guilty of. You cannot blame occupation because Israel left in 2005. And one more point—

JOSHUA HANTMAN: Ma’am, you know, as an international lawyer, that as soon as you put munitions within a house or fire from within a house or fire from within a schoolyard, that becomes a military target. No country in the world would accept a situation whereby over three-quarters of their population are under direct rocket fire. Ma’am, just imagine—just imagine if the United States had over 200 million of its population under rocket fire from an internationally recognized terrorist organization, which, by the way, I’m sure you are not defending here, because Hamas, they wouldn’t allow a young, liberal, secular woman to express her views like you do, ma’am. They would not allow my gay friends to express their sexuality freely. They would not allow Jews to open synagogues or Christians to open churches. This is an Islamist, fundamentalist organization that you’re sitting here defending. And I also assume, ma’am, that you don’t justify their use of human shields, which they openly talk about. They’re proud about it, ma’am. They don’t hide the fact that they use human shields. I take it you would join me in condemning this.

JOSHUA HANTMAN: Let me actually correct you, because this escalation was started by Hamas. And if you look, what the professor said is completely incorrect. The truce was not held by Hamas. And every single month for the last decade, rockets have been fired into Israel. Even after November 2012, where we had this Operation Pillar of Defense, and we restored the deterrents, you know how many rockets were fired in 2013, the quietest year in a decade? There were still 76 rockets fired at Israel, 76 indiscriminate rockets fired at our kids, fired at our old people, fired at our women. This—

AMY GOODMAN: But could you respond to this issue of the deaths?

JOSHUA HANTMAN: Yes, ma’am. I’m going to get—I’m going to get to it, ma’am.

AMY GOODMAN: You’ve got over a hundred Palestinians who have now been killed.

JOSHUA HANTMAN: I’m going to get—well, first of all, I’ve already said that for Israel, any civilian death is not only a tragedy, but it’s a failure, as well. And we review every single operation and every single strike to see how we can improve. We’ve hit over 800 targets to try and stop these rockets, to try and stop this indiscriminate missile fire against our civilians. Out of those 800 targets, I’ll be honest, the precision—the precision is quite outstanding. And there is no military in the history of the world that has actually used such precision targets. I mean, think about it from a military tactics point of view. We tell our enemies—we tell Hamas where we’re going to hit. We tell them with text messages, with phone calls, with leaflets. We tell them in order to get civilians out of harm’s way. But for them, civilian death is actually—it’s actually a success. This is what they want. And—

JOSHUA HANTMAN: My counterpart—my counterpart would not condemn this use of human shields, which Hamas is proud about. They call it—they call for it on TV. They said it—their spokesperson said it yesterday. Their Interior Ministry put out a press release saying, "Palestinians, come to the roofs. Stay in the homes where we’re firing the rockets from." It’s disgusting. And I would like her to actually condemn it.

NOURA ERAKAT: I absolutely consider it reprehensible. What straight-minded person would actually accept that? That’s not the point. I’ve repeatedly explained that Palestinians are not robots who listen to Hamas. They care about their children and their families. This—

AMY GOODMAN: Noura Erakat, what do you think needs to happen, in this last minute that we have?

NOURA ERAKAT: You know, what really needs to happen is what has needed to happen for over 66 years of the displacement and dispossession of Palestinians, over 47 years of military occupation and continuing colonial expansion, which is the lifting of the siege, the end of the occupation, equality for all in Palestine, without distinction—Palestine and Israel, without distinction to religion, as Israel would have us believe. The entirety of the Israeli state is built on the premise of a demographic equation that needs and necessitates a Jewish majority. That should make us all concerned and raise red flags for us and make us stop before we call it the only democracy the Middle East and continue to fund it another year with $3.1 billion without any accountability.

AMY GOODMAN: What would stop the Israeli assault on Gaza, Joshua Hantman?

JOSHUA HANTMAN: Ma’am, what would stop the Israeli assault on Gaza? A commitment for a long-term ceasefire. No more rocket fire. I’m talking about not the trickling in of more rockets and more missiles, but actually Hamas stopping the rocket fire. Let me remind you, ma’am, that the Palestinian Authority, who, by the way, controls Areas A and B in the West Bank and—

JOSHUA HANTMAN: —used to have control also in the Gaza Strip, they’ve just joined a unity government with Hamas—

Americans need to Answer: When WillPalestinians get their Fourth of July?

Americans are commemorating the Fourth of July today, the anniversary of the
Declaration of Independence. 

The grievances that the four million inhabitants of British North America had in
1776 were not felt by them to be narrow or specific but rather universal, and so
too was the remedy. They laid against the government of King George III that it
was not serving the interests of its North American subjects. 

Thomas Jefferson wrote,

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” 

All human beings are created equal, the founders of the United States believed. 

That means that Palestinians, as human beings, are also created equal. The text
says “all.” 

Moreover, the Palestinians by virtue of being “men” (i.e. human beings) have
been endowed by God with the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 

The Palestinians do not have any of these rights, whether God wants them to or not. They were successively ethnically cleansed from their homeland of Palestine by militant Jewish settlers. (There were no Jews in Palestine to speak of as recently as 1800; Bonaparte found about 3,000 I think; Palestine was inhabited by Muslim and Christian Palestinians and as late as 1939 the British mandatory authorities envisaged a Palestinian state in 1949). Some 750,000 were expelled with no compensation and their land and property usurped in 1948. More tens of thousands were displaced in 1967. Their numbers have grown. Some 20 percent of Israel is remnants of the original Palestinian inhabitants, some 1.6 million persons. They are second class citizens in many ways.

But the some 4 million Palestinians who live in the West Bank and Gaza, and the
several hundred thousand living in Lebanese refugee camps, are living lives the
opposite of the ones Jefferson declared natural. They are stateless. In the West
Bank they live under Israeli military rule; there are a few civil institutions, but all
of these can be over-ruled by the whim of the Israeli army. Palestinians do not
control their land, water or air. In Gaza, the Israelis have put them under siege,
including the children and non-combatants in general. They aren’t allowed to
export virtually anything they produce. They have no port or airport (both
bombed by Israel). They suffer from massive unemployment and even
malnutrition. The Israelis have placed the Palestinians of Gaza in a huge open-air
concentration camp. With American and European help. 

In the phrase of Warren Burger, the stateless have no right to have rights. They
do not have the right to life, or liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. They may be
killed with impunity (the Israeli army has killed 9 Palestinians, including children,in its crackdown on the West Bank over the horrific kidnapping and killing
of three Israeli youth. The horrid character of the crime does not authorize Israel to
engage in collective punishment nor Israelis to act as vigilantes and deprive other
people of life or liberty.) 

So the Palestinians do not have a right to life. They have no liberty at all as the US
founding generation conceived it. And they certainly have no right to pursue
happiness. Their lives are constrained and made difficult by deliberate actions of
Israeli officials and officers and armed squatters on their land who torment them. 

The Declaration of Independence insists that people have a right to elect their
government. But Palestinians cannot elect the Israeli government, which actually
rules them (and they cannot elect the Lebanese or Syrian governments either,
where there are significant Palestinian refugee populations). The elections held
after the Oslo process have been undone by deliberate Israeli intransigence.
When Palestinians vote for the Palestine Authority, in any case, they are not
actually getting representation that matters. Unelected forces in Israel still control
their land, air and sea. 

When Palestinians elected a Hamas government in 2006, the Israelis disrupted it
and fomented a PLO coup against it. The Americans in 1776 said of King George,
“He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly
firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.” Palestinian parliamentarians
have been arrested in large numbers by Israeli soldiers on the West Bank. Some
are now again kidnapped. 

The early Americans were angry that King George III took away land at will, which
is something the Israelis routinely do to the Palestinians. They also minded that
he appointed the court judges. The Palestinians have no courts in which to
adjudicate their claims, being forced to litigate in front of unsympathetic Israeli
judges. 

Did the Americans mind that the king was “cutting off our Trade with all parts of
the world?” Israelis are doing that to the Palestinians. Were they angry at him
“for depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury”? The Israelis
arrest and hold people for a very long time without any judicial process. 

The remedy the early Americans applied to these problems, of rising up against
foreign occupying troops, is not available to Palestinians. The Israelis are too
strong, too well armed, and too backed to the hilt by the US Congress, many
members of which have more or less been bribed by pro-Israel donors. Opposing the Israeli occupation is routinely equated in the US to “terrorism,”even though Palestinians are the aggrieved party. But in any case, the Declaration of Independence does not say all men are created equal except those that have some violent people among them. And King George III saw the American revolutionaries as terrorists, too. 

The horrible thing is that US diplomacy and US taxpayers’ money is going
toward keeping the Palestinians stateless and without rights. Americans are
doing to a helpless people exactly the kinds of things they wouldn’t put up with
from King George III for themselves. 

Americans don’t have a responsibility to liberate everyone in the world. But they
do have a responsibility not to help Israel deprive Palestinians of their inalienable
rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The idea of having a strong Federal government was controversial in the early United States, and one of the ways Federalists reassured Americans that it wouldn’t become tyrannical was to append a Bill of Rights to the Constitution.

That attempt to prevent despotism has failed, because the Federal government and its various agencies have set aside the Bill of Rights as a dead letter, substituted for them a bizarre set of interpretations of law, and either avoid having the courts adjudicate their fascist fantasies or managed to have appointed to the bench unethical or authoritarian judges that will uphold virtually anything they do.

How corrupt our system has become is evident when even the New Yorkeremphasizes that a secret Senate report found that torture in the Bush years was “unnecessary” and “ineffective.” Not that it was “unconstitutional.”

The Eighth Amendment of the US constitution forbids ‘cruel and unusual punishment.’ US courts have found that the Framers’ injunction was intended to be dynamic, and did not only forbid those things thought barbaric in 1789 but those things contemporary Americans would find cruel and unusual. As Cornell Law school put it,

‘in Weems v. United States it was concluded that the framers had not merely intended to bar the reinstitution of procedures and techniques condemned in 1789, but had intended to prevent the authorization of “a coercive cruelty being exercised through other forms of punishment.” The Amendment therefore was of an “expansive and vital character”41 and, in the words of a later Court, “must draw its meaning from the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society.” ‘

If a sheriff in a small town arrested a shoplifter and waterboarded him 54 times, the sheriff would go to jail. Federal officials? Not so much.

Let us just underline the Supreme Court’s diction here in Weems. The Framers had sought, they said, to forestall “a coercive cruelty being exercised through other forms of punishment.”

Coercive cruelty. Coercive cruelty was the hallmark of treatment of Federal detainees in the Bush era. That was what Abu Ghraib, Bagram and Guantanamo were about. Some prisoners were likely victims of manslaughter by coercive cruelty (it is hard to know when to stop).

Waterboarding is illegal (not to mention setting German shepherds on people to viciously bite them). Professor of Law Wilson R. Huhn writes:

“Three major treaties that the United States has signed and unambiguously ratified prohibit the United States from subjecting prisoners in the War on Terror to this kind of treatment. First, Common Article 3 of the Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, which the Senate unanimously ratified in 1955, prohibits the parties to the treaty from acts upon prisoners including “violence to life and person, in particular murder of all kinds, mutilation, cruel treatment and torture; . . . outrages upon personal dignity, in particular, humiliating and degrading treatment.”[18] Second, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which the Senate ratified in 1992, states that “[n]o one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.”[19] Third, the United Nations Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment, which the Senate ratified in 1994, provides that “[e]ach State Party shall take effective legislative, administrative, judicial or other measures to prevent acts of torture in any territory under its jurisdiction,”[20] and that “[e]ach State Party shall undertake to prevent in any territory under its jurisdiction other acts of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment which do not amount to torture . . . .”

The United States has enacted statutes prohibiting torture and cruel or inhuman treatment. It is these statutes which make waterboarding illegal… The four principal statutes which Congress has adopted to implement the provisions of the foregoing treaties are the Torture Act,… the War Crimes Act…,and the laws entitled “Prohibition on Cruel, Inhuman, or Degrading Treatment or Punishment of Persons Under Custody or Control of the United States Government”… and “Additional Prohibition on Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.”… The first two statutes are criminal laws while the latter two statutes extend civil rights to any person in the custody of the United States anywhere in the world.

The Torture Act makes it a felony for any person, acting under color of law, to commit an act of torture upon any person within the defendant’s custody or control outside the United States…. Torture is defined as the intentional infliction of “severe physical or mental pain or suffering” upon a person within the defendant’s custody or control… To be “severe,” any mental pain or suffering resulting from torture must be “prolonged.”[29] Under this law, torture is punishable by up to twenty years imprisonment unless the victim dies as a result of the torture, in which case the penalty is death or life in prison.”

But somehow employees of the US military, the CIA and other Federal agencies managed to ignore all that. So yes, unnecessary and ineffective. But also, illegal and unconstitutional and treasonous.

Then of course there is the National Security Agency’s gutting of the Fourth Amendment ban on unreasonable search and seizure. As long as the unreasonable search and seizure happens on the internet, apparently that is all right. What arrogance, what hypocrisy, what fascism.

An honest appeals court just ruled that the government needs a warrant to put a tracking device on your car and follow you around by GPS. But your cell phone metadata also reveals your movements, and the NSA is scooping that information up, effectively following you around without a warrant, exactly what the court just found unjustified. But the Federal government (yes, the Obama administration) has succeeded in keeping NSA practices out of the courts.

While few Americans care that the NSA was intensively spying on the Mexicans, French and Germans, even on German chancellor Angela Merkel’s private cell phone, they should. The Bill of Rights were once a point of inspiration for human rights activists around the world. Much of what the youth who led the Arab upheavals of 2011 wanted was enshrined in the Bill of Rights. American ideals and rule of law were part of America’s soft power in the world. The European Union is suddenly less cooperative because of our allies’ outrage at being spied on. No one wants to be like creepy peeping toms or vicious torturers, and that is what Americans have become.

Moreover, the NSA foreign spying is racist. Yes, on top of everything else, it involves a racist hierarchy. The US doesn’t intensively spy on Canadians, British and Australians, i.e. on what were called in the 19th century ‘Anglo-Saxons.’ It is only the inferior races that Washington subjects to surveillance.

But all that is crashing and burning as the US government has betrayed those ideals over and over again. We’re being massively spied on by our government, our location, the people we call, the websites we visit, all being monitored constantly. And if the government decides we are terrorism suspects, we could well be tortured. Martin Luther King’s principle of civil disobedience would be categorized as terrorism today, and if he were active in our time, instead of naming a Federal holiday after him, the government would have MLK waterboarded by police dressed up as military commandos.

The American Genocide Against Iraq: 4% of Population Dead as result of US sanctions, wars  Posted on 10/17/2013 by Juan Cole

A new household survey of Iraqis has projected the civilian death toll from the Bush administration’s invasion and occupation of Iraq at roughly 450,000. Passive information-gathering techniques like logging deaths in the Western press have produced estimates closer to 150,000, but such techniques have been proven to miss a lot of people. (To my knowledge no one was counting all the deaths reported in the some 200 Arabic-language Iraqi newspapers in the 2000s, so even the passive information-gathering was limited. And, the Wikileaks US military log of civilian deaths did not overlap very much with e.g. Iraq Body Count, so both of them were missing things the other caught.) 

Of those extra deaths beyond those who would have died if the US had never invaded, some 270,000 died violently, with US troops responsible for about 90,000 civilian deaths and militias for another 90,000. Of those killed violently, 60 percent were shot, and 12 percent died from car bombs. Some 180,000 died because of the destruction of the public health infrastructure (lack of access to hospital treatment, e.g.). 

Despite the horrific total, this estimate for 2003-2011 is smaller than the Lancet study of some years ago, which was done under wartime conditions. The authors admit, however, that the death toll could have been even higher; this total is a projection based on 2000 interviews. 

The US/ UN sanctions on Iraq of the 1990s, which interdicted chlorine for much of that decade and so made water purification impossible, are estimated to have killed another 500,000 Iraqis, mainly children. (Infants and toddlers die easily from diarrhea caused by gastroenteritis, which causes fatal dehydration). 

So the US polished off about a million Iraqis from 1991 through 2011, large numbers of them children. The Iraqi population in that period was roughly 25 million, so the US killed or created the conditions for the killing of 4% of the Iraqi population. 

If Iraq had killed 4% of Americans, it would be 12 million people dead. 

Iraq did not attack the United States. It did attack Iran in 1980, but by 1983 the US was an ally in Iraq’s war against Iran. It also attacked Kuwait, which it occupied quite bestially, but it was out by spring 1991. There was no casus belli or legitimate legal cause of war in 2003. Iraq’s main crime appears to have been to be an oil state not compliant with US demands. 

All this is horrible enough. Even more horrible is that the US occupation of Iraq sparked a Sunni Arab insurgency, which is still vigorous. Insurgencies typically take 10 to 15 years to subside. Some 5000 Iraqi civilians have been killed so far this year by that insurgency. US occupation is the gift that goes on giving. 

Despite the Bush administration’s violation of the UN charter and its war crimes in Iraq, none of its high officials has faced prosecution. Some of them even have the gall to come on television from time to time to urge more killing.

I would point out one problem I have with a lot of these kinds of reports from people like Juan Cole is their reluctance to actually call a spade a spade. Point of fact:  "civilian death toll from the Bush administration’s invasion and occupation of Iraq" and continues, "Despite the Bush administration’s violation of the UN charter and its war crimes in Iraq".  The person responsible for the deaths, invasion, occupation, violations and war crimes was specifically President George W. Bush. Justice demands the same accountability that Saddam Hussein got.

Many people are still in a quandary as to what the Occupy Movement wants or what it is all about. The Elite's want them to have leaders they can attack. They want them to have ideas and beliefs to attack. The Uber Rich and their warmongering politicians want these people to conform the their failed way, get in line and continue doing what you are told to do. 

Clearly, the joke is on them, though. The purpose of this worldwide movement is there for all to see. The simple truth of why there is such an inability to see and understand what is going on is the almost total delegitimizing corruption that has completely looted this country and the world of everything valuable. The Ruling Elite's efforts to dehumanize the majority of humanity has run into a serious problem. Many of these people refuse to accept the lie that they are worthless degenerates wanting an equality of which they legally or morally possess no right. They are in the process of taking back what they rightfully possess, the Earth. Even if it is only a dirty little plaza in the middle nowhere.

In Southern Humboldt there is the town of Garberville, it has a small park. Business people in Garberville, those without any shame, proudly proclaims its past 50 years business survival was its almost total subsistence on the ill-gotten, criminal marijuana money. The social deprivation of Garberville and surrounding communities by these people, as they try to justify their amoral needs, has led to generations of social corruption and lawlessness. One of these business people, Eric Kirk, also publishes the blog SoHum Parlance II. This man, as I understand it, is also a practicing lawyer or attorney. He recently posted: Open Thread on Friday Night's Meeting which was about the blight cause by the homeless and transients and the apparent efforts of the locals to deal with the problem. This situation is kind of a mini-occupy Garberville. After reading some of the comments, I posted a short observation about how the business people were part and party to the lawlessness of the past 50 years through their, what amounted to, criminal money laundering business activities. As such, they had compromised their integrity and legitimacy as a people, and a community. To me, the stench of these business people and their supporter's hypocrisy far acceded the smell they claim ravages their town as a result of no public facilities for homeless garbage and feces. As such, their current situation was of their own making.

So, where does the rot come? Where does that total corrupt thinking, base amoral being of the believer that justifies the total lawlessness and that unaccountable criminal behavior? The following exchange in the blog post listed above might give you a hint:  My comment: 

“Every businessman or woman with established businesses that knowingly takes money, does businesses with criminals, by definition launders money. Just because these business people have a symbiotic relationship with law enforcement and the courts does not justify or legitimize the crimes or the criminals. Ernie Branscomb’s position on this matter is there for everyone to read. He made this an issue, not me. Just because the whole community wants to absolve itself of any responsibility for its actions all these years, present conditions say otherwise. People are fond of telling me, “Sh*t happens.” Well, all I’m saying is, “Live with it.” I don’t like it either. I have nothing but contempt for those that think they have and had the right to take that “dump” right in my front yard and then blame me for having such a nice yard that they could use.”

And Eric Kirk's immediate reply:  

“Well, that pretty much includes everyone who does business, pretty much everywhere. Because crime in many forms is a significant chunk of GDP.”

Why is the hypocrisy of such a laissez faire attitude coming from a practicing attorney NOT a total surprise? 94% of the politicians with the most money win elections. The government and its judicial system are totally bought and paid for by criminal money – so according to lawyer Eric Kirk, the total worth or value of the United States is based upon criminal money, that makes everything (all crime) justifiable.

So, where does the rot come? It comes from a lifetime of the totally corrupt, lawless thinking of wannabe Elitist Parasites as they practice their dark art of lying, accusing, looting and murdering while posing for all to see as self-righteous, holier-than-thou, born of God, paragon's of all things righteous and perfect.

[UPDATE :: Saturday, October 29, 2011] Here's another example of ROT, of a sick, sorry apologetic promoting the status quo at the expense of the deaths of innocent young people. Juan Cole's "Why a No-Fly Zone won’t Work in Syria" - is really a misnomer disguised as a plausible reality. When all he's really doing is defending Barck Obama's current gutless policies while trying to excuse away and justify his (their) duplicitous fecklessness corruption.

Juan Cole writes today, Israeli Soldiers’ Brutality at Prison Camp for Palestinians - should be an eye-opener for any decent human being. The “Privileged Class,” in this case the Jews are exposed, AGAIN, for who and what they are as a nation and as a people. 

While he lays down some seriously condemnatory facts, and exposes the complicity of Jeffrey Goldberg, journalist for The Atlantic, he show extreme difficulty calling a spade a spade. After detailing the “in-your-face” wanton, lawless criminality of the Israeli people he, concludes by saying:

Israel has many positive accomplishments to its name, but its policies toward the Palestinians are a national tragic flaw. Israel cannot become a normal, really successful society until it lets Palestinians have statehood and popular sovereignty.

The greatest “positive accomplishments to its name” are defined by Mr. Cole when he says,

“Israeli national mythology attempts to erase this foundational crime and to deny the very existence of the Palestinians, of whom there are now some 11 million.”

It is the “mythological” belief that is the root cause of the Jews inability to coexist peacefully with the Palestinians. And, I might add, the Americans with the rest of the world. Americans respect NO national sovereignty of any country, i.e., so-called "War on Terror." In their minds these people, Palestinians, are a non-entity, a non-person, a non-species certainly NOT equal to them. How do you talk to someone that doesn't exist? It is here where Mr. Cole capitulates by defining the Jew's delegitimizing criminal state of being as a “national tragic flaw.”

The real “flaw” here is contained in Mr. Cole's next statement where he says Israel's growth as a people depends upon them “letting” the Palestinians “have” statehood and popular sovereignty.” The legitimate right of a people to “statehood” and “popular sovereignty,” by definition, does NOT depend or rely upon another person's, people's or nation's permission. Because the Palestinians do no “exist” there can be NO will of any people to justify and legitimize “popular sovereignty.” Not withstanding his contradictory state of being, he has defined exactly why there shall never be any peaceful coexistence between Jew and Palestinian. The Jewish people have had over 60 years to reconcile their aberrant beliefs with truth and reality. Like Juan Cole and many other misdirected and misinformed people, he believes that the Jews are in the position of giving recognition and accepting these people or not. For the Jew's to accept the Palestinians in any way, such as recognize a Two-State reality, would cause or force them to the deny their original premise, legal or not, for their state or nation of Israel - to reject their legitimate right to exist as a people.

In the same vein, Juan Cole writes, Saving What's Left of the Constitution. Here's the pertinent excerpt:

I am relieved that Judge Lynch and his colleagues reinstated the suit, and a little surprised, as well. The courts, prosecutors and even the present attorney general have let the Bush administration get away with so many crimes that I had begun to suspect that that our system had just become too corrupt and/or politicized to protect basic American freedoms.

I emphasized those words to illustrate the same "beat around the bush" attitude. Did you notice who is missing" Who he omitted from responsibility for refusing to comply with his solemn oath to enforce the U.S. Constitution? Worthy of note, however, was his equating "corruption" with "politics." Unfortunately, he doesn't equate "American freedoms" with the fundamental issue, American citizens obligation to obey and enforce and to demand and enforce its government to obey, comply and enforce the Constitution to justify American Sovereign Legitimacy.
