The Brownshirt Solution is a Real Life Tragedy

[UPDATE :: Sunday, June 8, 2014 :: Brownshirt slime show their true colors - the so-called elite in quality blogging shows the folly of voting in local elections. Reminds me of the Triple Crown race at the Belmont Stakes Saturday - a foregone conclusion.]

Where it all starts: The Brownshirt Real Life Tragedy as they touch REAL people with Totalitarian Fascist Solutions.

When I wrote this post I hadn't decided to post it on this blog. However, when I heard the following quote on Democracy Now this morning, I decided I had to say something. By the way, voting for whatever people seem to believe it is worth won't take care of this sickness. The complete article on Democracy Now.
AMY GOODMAN: In an astounding this morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe the — half, if not the majority of the guests and hosts said that he should not have been saved. Given his political views.
JAMES BRANUM: That is insane. In our country we don’t sacrifice our service members based on their political beliefs. That is disgusting, personally.
Apparently we do now. Censoring on blogs for political beliefs or dissenting views is just the beginning.

In the 150 years or so since the Civil War you would naturally believe, after all the World Wars, all the fighting and dying, all the sacrifices that were paid for the right to be free men and women we would be living in a modern utopia of glutinous freedoms and liberties. Rather than living in a world of barbaric cannibals daily gorging themselves on - eating our rights to be free and independent citizens charting our course in this life to all our unalienable rights, i.e.,
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
What we get, and this is a good example, of the real time social barbarism and terrorist philosophy that drives or empowers such darkage beliefs. Some of the end results, in America, the victims are just thrown into solitary confinement for life – a form of tortured murder or execution. It's called indefinite detention, without trial in some cases. These beliefs are then translated into laws that justified some of the worlds most abhorrent despots and murderous tyrants. Today millions of Americans are incarcerated and for what? Not being white? How many innocent people were forced to plead to a police frame-up because stupid or racist jurors and corrupt judges rubber-stamped into prison?

I'm talking about this blog and article: "Another tragic incident, with a pitiful outcome well short of Justice" - Be sure to read the comments to get the full impact.

It all seems innocuous enough, right. Just conversation trying to work out a reasonable solution.
What makes this serious for everyone is how this kind of conduct extrapolates into real life and dramatically affects our social community to its everlasting detriment. You can't spit on the sidewalk without committing a felony. Felons are a permanent sub-class American. The police are lawless in their own right and replicate that attitude when dealing with everyone. When was the last time anyone challenged Humboldt Superior Court Judge Dale Reinholtsen for that position or any other Superior Court Judge locally?

Knee-jerk justice speaks for itself. Extreme knee-jerk laws tend to create injustice. You can't cure a disease by trying to treat the symptoms. Yet that is the panacea everyone believes voting does.

For those that don't know, here is the definition of insanity:
Insanity. n. mental illness of such a severe nature that a person cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, cannot conduct her/his affairs due to psychosis, or is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior.
Look around more people fit that description than you might think. Especially, all those Brownshirts enforcing and subjecting everyone to their worthless opinions.

Eric Kirk and His Brownshirts - Called Out Again

Eric Kirk Indicts Himself AGAIN

I'm not the only one to experience the offending ridicule, mockery and derision pumped out by Eric Kirk and his Brownshirt Trolls. What offends me the most about these people is their rank, in-your-face hypocrisy. What's interested me lately is how they've all brazenly crawled out from under their rocks and shown their true colors. That demonstrates to me a real trend change in society. There's a lot of pent-up anger and hatred just under the surface waiting to manifest itself. Whether you call yourself Progressive, Democrat, Conservative, Tea Party or Republican or something else the pent-up emotions are all the same. The lines are being drawn and everyone, mostly when they can hide behind their anonymity and are protected by complicit blog owners, attack unrelentingly. Given the opportunity, I believe these modern-day Brownshirts would operate just the same as the originals did.

Here is another offended commenter that thought he had entered into a civil and instructive discussion. Notice when he or she points out the flagrant personal invective, motivated and incentivized by the blog owner Eric Kirk, how he disinvites him from participating on his blog for being inadequate, stupid and unable to meet the high standards of his blog forum. His practice of selective censorship is on full display again - the Brownshirt solution for silencing all dissent.

Yes, Unk John, you are combining the comments of 2 diff. Anons.I am the Anon that is perplexed by local, known individuals like Mitch and Eric, among many others here, struggling to sound intelligent while simultaneously joining in mob-mentality by ridiculing and mocking concern over chemtrails, comparing them to “crazies” (Mitch), “mind-control” (Mitch) and “conspiracy theorists” (Mitch). 
Obviously, intelligent people that believe as Mitch and Eric purport to, would never respond at all to such “craziness”, let alone, week after week happily dismissing, exaggerating, mocking, and ridiculing others. For those that are clearly concerned by chemtrails, I would ask that you reevaluate your assertion that Mitch, or Eric’s comments are “more gentile than you perceive”. 
Early in this string someone posted videos of geo-engineer seminars reflecting years of actual chemtrail research devoid of human-impact considerations. This should have eliminated any illusions of “conspiracies”. No one disputed this fact, however, instead of outrage over the proposed continuation of scientific models unchanged in U.S. history, (human experimentation on native people with untreated small pox, and uranium poisoning, exposing indigent Americans to untreated syphilis, plutonium, DDT, nuclear fallout, etc), they chose, instead, to engage in endless ridicule. 
This is not the choice intelligent people would make. 
Actual tests of existing chemtrail research is hardly in the same league as “crazies, mind-control, Big Foot, Ancient Aliens, crop circles, space elevators, etc”. 
Again, ridicule is vile. It is a form of aggressive hostility. Attempts to conceal vileness behind a pathetic excuse of being “sad” is beyond belief. 
It is conceivable that, by the 500th comment, the neurosis on tour here can be extinguished by asking how we allowed very mean, small minded people to indulge their psychosis and distract us from “changing our minds” about chemtrails as a frightening continuation of “science” fully prepared to being the next unaccountable mass-experiment. [Emphasis mine.]
 Eric Kirk's rather lengthy response follows. Some of what he says is frankly astounding. What he says lays bare a whole lot about his character and the value of his quality as a person. His ability to conflate the ridicule of the individual with his "position" or the subject under discussion is masterful. Then he accuses him of being "silly" for taking the ridicule personally. Typical lawyer "bait and switch" trap Kirk is so proficient at manipulating. This is what make Eric Kirk and his blog one of the more prominent local Troll blogs and a Brownshirt haven. Note the second paragraph, a perfect example of Troll talking ROT. All Trolls know how to read minds and can tell everyone how and what someone thinks and believes. All the while demeaning, ridiculing, and vilifying you with all the aplomb and self-righteous arrogance of a thug bully.

Regarding the posting: What Eric Kirk thinks, as he argues below, is basically unimportant and irrelevant, how he demonstrably thinks is not. And how he thinks is what makes this whole exercise so troubling and dangerous. The Brownshirt movement was born of a way of thinking that then transformed into a self-deceiving belief that justified their historical litany of atrocities.

Anonymous 10:53 – If you’re that sensitive to ridicule over a particular issue, it suggests a bit of insecurity around your position, which is actually to your credit. Otherwise, the ridicule would be of minimal concern to you. If you’re truly in the right, it shouldn’t matter what the rest of us think or say about it. That you take it so personally suggests that maybe you recognize how silly the position appears to most people.

The problem here is that you’re going to see what you want to see based on your ideology of grand government conspiracies. Your view of the sky fits your view of everything else, but you have enough common sense to understand how it looks. So you get angry when it’s pointed out.

I’m ridiculed for all sorts of my positions from people who disagree with me, as you will find in abundance if you read many of the threads here. I don’t see their ridicule as “vile.” I see it as part of the discussion.

And I’m sorry, but when someone claims he’s seen something in the sky that is abnormal, and is presented with overwhelming evidence that it’s really nothing special, and that what he sees is easily explainable with a little bit of scientific knowledge, and he stubbornly refuses to even address the actual science, he opens himself up to ridicule. You can go to dozens of sources which with photographs of the cloud types complete with explanations found in textbooks dating back decades or even hundreds of years. But that’s no fun. It’s much more fun and satisfying to believe that your in some elite clique of people who “know” what’s really happening because nobody else notices what’s going on in the sky above him. It helps him to feel smug and superior, and more importantly special. He will see what he wants to see, because the pieces all fit together for him, and everything he sees will only reinforce that picture he desperately wants to maintain. He will believe that all of the clouds in the sky are man made, even if it contradicts not just basic rules of physics and chemistry, but common sense – a cloud cannot move against the wind, and the wind only blows in one direction at any given location. He will cite no peer-reviewed studies that these materials can even possibly create clouds, but that’s of no matter to him, because these scientists with their journals are all part of a cabal which seeks to control the truth. He doesn’t need actual empirical evidence. He just knows, because he “sees.” 
That self-deception is at the core of risks of every pursuit of truth and that grand theories require grand evidence just doesn’t occur to him.

That’s extremely frustrated to those of us to do make some effort to recognize our ignorance, and when we make a simple request for such a thing of photographic evidence of an occurrence which supposedly takes place twice a month and the request is rejected as game playing, well, it fits into a pattern of the pseudo-scientist who doesn’t realize that you need an incredible amount of work to arrive at even the smallest of a truth. You need to eliminate all variables, or as many as possible. You need to look to the most simple of explanations before running wild with the most exotic.

The pursuit of understanding is not an easy path. i understand that. But if you’re going to persist in lazy approach and be righteous about it – I’m probably going to ridicule you, especially if I see enough people jumping on a bandwagon so that it’s an actual problem – a detriment to any real hope for positive solutions to realproblems. And if you can’t handle the rough and tumble of lively discussion, then this is probably not the forum for you. [Emphasis mine.]

Kirk's problem and his indictment is that he can't handle the "rough and tumble of lively discussions," that is why he uses his Brownshirt solution to intimidate, bully, and murder (silence) dissent.

Furthermore, Eric Kirk knows absolutely nothing about the "pursuit of understanding." He has only dabbled at the edges. A man that has pursued understanding, the fruitage of a pursuit of "knowledge" thinks, becomes and operates in a significantly more valued way than Eric Kirk has manifest on his blog and in life. When it comes to knowing this pursuit, what it means to be and become a "man of knowledge," I can speak from experience as I have defeated all the "enemies" but the final one.

Eric Kirk and His Brownshirts

Most of these so-called community oriented blogs are nothing more than a conduit for the inane, dregs of society to puke out mountains of hyperbolic vitriol, lies and violent hate speech. They personally attack other commenters with such a frenzy you would believe you had just walked into a barnyard  full of chickens going after a cockroach. These people, for the most part cowardly, thug bullies, try to cover themselves with a fig leaf of the first amendment to justify their primary objective of fomenting, enabling and empowering prejudice, bigotry, racism, hate, violence and yes, even terrorism. If these offending blogs actually post visible and obvious comment rules, most don't, they are never enforced upon the worst offenders; those that support the blog's owners, their objectives, and their standard class and political dictum.

As noted before, blogs are a good measure of a community's social health. You get mostly unfettered articles on subjects that interest the blog owner and often enough, a whole panoply of commentary from visitors that sets the community tone - from the mundane nonsense, racist, bigoted, biased, prejudiced, moronic, ignorant, stupid, baseless, filthy lies, innuendo, false accusations and other hate-filled and mongering blather, ad hominem, and hyperbole to enlightening, inspirational, intelligent, commonsense instructional, current news and otherwise fun reading. Occasionally, you get a replica of what if feels like to live in a totalitarian, authoritarian fascist Elitist State when you visit one of these blogs and make a comment. The Nazi Brownshirts that possess an IQ of a pig come out in droves fully blessed and empowered by the Blog owner and moderator to attack and verbally assault, bully and ridicule. All the time proclaiming their right as a free American to wage verbal warfare on the unsuspecting visitor. They wait with baited breath for you to try to defend yourself so they can justify their "right" to assault you as a hate mongering Troll.

Like most houses of ill repute, they look nice on the outside, are inviting and full of promises, the beauty they offer is breathtaking, but deliver a slow death. That is why they cater to the intellectually adolescent, the brainwashed 5 year old, full of feel-good propaganda that only knows what they believe. Consequently, they are incapable and unable to accept or handle the truth. To them, truth becomes hate speech. As such, truth directly threatens their sense of self, who they believe they are - as revealed, bankrupt, worthless opinions.

When I start the Joe Blow Report I determined to be inclusive and list all the local blogs. My interest in Southern Humboldt garnered me an introduction to Eric Kirk and his SoHum Parlance II. Occasionally, he would introduce a subject of interest and I would comment on an observation or two. The end result, well -- his latest comment pretty much says it all -- his true feelings about me and my commentary.
Actually Joe, what I noticed is that when the threads were no longer perpetually dominated by nonsensical posts from you, Forest Queen, and Suzi, participation from everyone else actually picked up. [Emphasis mine.]
But that wasn't all. He runs an open blog, everyone can comment on anything they want and as much as they want. He posts NO rules or restrictions; from time to time he says he knows what he doesn't like when he sees it, and deletes the comment -- so ultimately, commenting on his blog is like going into court and having a  judge tell you, "Make your best case and I'll decide which laws apply, if any." No way to defend yourself there; it's all about the judge's self-serving worthless opinions.

He says the "threads were no longer perpetually dominated by nonsensical posts." I would encourage the reader to go to his blog and look at the mountain of "nonsensical blog posts" under, All Things Reconsidered on KMUD Tonight – “What can change your mind? that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the theme that he actively participates in. OH Yeah! There are at current time 437 comments - mostly "nonsensical" by his judgment and past interpretations.

It seems he doesn't run such an "open" blog after all. To impress everyone who is boss of his blog, without a word despite what he says now, he banned Forest Queen some time ago. When he did that he never said anything about moderating Suzy or my comments. I stopped making comments after reading his personal and insulting comments justifying his arbitrary behavior. Speaking for myself, I'm not a grammar school child in Eric Kirk's school for ignorant morons. Recently, different commenters have been asking about Forest Queen and why she can't return to make comments. Eric Kirk explains why she can't:
Forest Queen was banned because I received about half a dozen complaints from people telling me offline that they no longer come here because she dominates every thread and dilutes every discussion with incoherent nonsense, apparently just for kicks. I gave several warnings. 
The last straw was a thread in which there had been a very interesting discussion which dissolved when she made about 7 or 9 straight nonsensical posts – the discussion was dead. 
I don’t actually remember anything she posted about law. I’m sure she did, but nothing that struck me as anything intellectually memorable. 
There are plenty of other blogs for her to play her games on. She can start her own. [Emphasis mine.]
I would like to point out that his justification is totally bogus, without basis. No one can "dominate" any thread or dilute any "discussion," with what he judges to be "incoherent nonsense," not unless you are an illiterate moron. Besides, to a five year old almost everything adults talk about is "incoherent nonsense."

When Suzy posted a comment on the above reasons, I decided to test him and see if he had banned me from commenting too. This is what I got when I posted the following comment:
Your comment is awaiting moderation.
After blocking Forest Queen my tolerance for Eric Kirk’s in-your-face hypocrisy and his unAmerican supporters’ hyperbolic justification tanked. Promised myself if ever had anything to say I’d publish on my own blog, but this is unreal. Whatever Eric Kirk thought to do and now justify is really amusing, not to mention so ever satisfying to witness his exposure. You shit in your own bed Kirk and don’t even know it. 
Has anyone bothered to take a look the the extent of this blog thread (alone), as of this writing 421 comments, with its extensive, “dominating and diluting” massive blather, “with incoherent nonsense,” and compare it with Eric Kirk’s reasons for banning (censoring Forest Queen)? While at the same time promoting himself as a champion patriot, defending the rights and freedoms consistent with or to a democratic society. You couldn't ask for a more perfect example of a “dead thread” totally unrelated to the original blog posting. Talk about rank, rotten hypocrisy – the stench permeates my offices so bad I had to turn off the computer. 
What goes around always comes around,” Kirk, and that is the real reason people stopped associating with you. You, actually, did us all a favor, in particular Forest Queen.
Interestingly, even though I am not outright banned, Eric DID post this comment with his answer, AFTER MODERATION:

Notice how he doesn't answer the issue of the hypocritical monumental blog stacking nonsensical posts - his rank hypocrisy. Typical of the weasley sleaze he goes right after my integrity. The question I ask is, who is proven to perpetually dominate his bog with nonsensical posts now? The stupid, inane commentary boiling out of his blog now rivals all comments ever made by Forest Queen, Suzy or me.

Be assured, SoHum Parlance II is NOT the only blog in Humboldt County to act this way. The Brownshirt movement is rather extensive. They threaten everything decent, honest and lawful people hold dear. This class of people are at war with the decent, the generous, the knowledgeable and the law abiding champions of truth, justice and the right to self-defense. They pose a real and abiding threat to our survival, as a nation, as a people and as a community.  While they live in relative obscurity on blogs and on the Internet, they live among us as they constantly project and enforce their evil will.

S'All BLAH and no HA!



CIA Invests in Software Firm Monitoring Blogs, Twitter
according to Wired reporter Noah Shachtman. He says, "America’s spy agencies want to read your blog posts, keep track of your Twitter updates—even check out your book reviews on Amazon."

Is that all they want to do? Just monitor what's going on in the US blogoshpere?

Notice:

But, you know, the way Visible works is it kind of grabs all the blogs and all the tweets out there, then it sorts for certain key words, it sorts for a sentiment about whether things are positive or negative, and then it also sorts based on which bloggers and which tweeters are really important or not. So, who knows? The commenter—the next commenter on your blog might be the CIA."
They want to get directly involved with their propaganda and disinformation. So, when that "Anonymous" person posts crap to your blog...

Or, comes along behind and takes issue with you...

It could be the CIA! Or maybe it's just S'All Blah and no Ha trying to confuse your poor sorry overworked, stressed and simple-minded efforts to figure out what the real geniuses are trying to say.


Just look for this picture and you'll see a good example what we're talking about. You'll see a true genius at work!

Some people think that posting comments and asking questions that stimulates thinking or exposes an obvious hypocritical lie is tantamount to beating their children or coming-on to their spouse. Some take an abrupt exception. This stuff these people post is way to slick and sophisticated to fall into that trap. The good lookin' gal on the left isn't the only one that's got everyone fooled either. There's some slick guys out here that will make your head ache too. That's why they've all got to be CIA.

All kidding aside, the real story here is not that they, our Government, is monitoring what we are all saying about ourselves, but that they are investing millions of dollars into schools, universities, businesses, local and state governments and agencies. Some of this is done all on the Q.T. -- some not. One way or another, the government just slips in and takes over. They eliminate competition, compromise integrity and reward corruption.  If you don't play ball you get the boot.

As It Stands with the Times-Standard Newspaper


Again today the Times-Standard newspaper here in Eureka, CA pumps out Dave Stancliff's “As It Stands” column in their Sunday newspaper. Is this a marriage made in heaven or a marriage made in hell?

Dave Stancliff continues to use the web and it's blogosphere to personally assault and libel anyone he wants, anyone he thinks is fair game, and the staff at the Times-Standard, in particular Dave Kuta, Kimberly Wear and James Faulk, continue to support and endorse his kind of abysmal and reprehensible conduct. By continuing to publish his “As It Stands” column they, directly and tacitly endorse his demagogue and libelous hate-mongering personal assaults. Whether any or either of these individuals understands it or not, what he publicly says and does directly reflects upon the integrity, honesty and character of the Times-Standard newspaper as well as each of these individuals. More than that, however, it also reflects upon each and every person or business that supports that paper.

This Report endeavors to maintain its objectivity through the process of observations. Report commentary regarding Dave Stancliff and his “As It Stands” web and newspaper column has refrained from sinking into the mire of contending or even refuting his bane attacks. He says and does what he wants, no matter how foul and obscene, then thinks he can just walk away – no harm, no foul. To put it simply, we're just a bunch of “anonymous” extremists with a paranoid outlook on life, pumping out our “hate-filled blog” picking on poor, little “simpleminded” Dave. While that was tempting, people like him, proven time and again by his own hand, establish the basis for a far worse crime than personally attacking the observations of this blog writer. Those people responsible at the Times-Standard turn a blind eye at one of their own kind and refuse to hold him accountable for his public behavior while he represents them. This kind of conduct sets the precedent that allows for every sort of lawbreaker to walk free or at a minimum get a bit of a slap on the wrist for murder, torture, indefinite detention, and god only knows what else. Those kinds of criminal behavior are not limited to just national problems, but bleed right down to our community.

Recent example, the apparent libel spawned on the local blog, “Above The Law” reported here, “Employee of EPD files suit against coworkers,” by Allison White/The Times-Standard, Posted on: 07/01/2009. Here the suit alleges that a blog, its articles and blog commentary by visitors caused, “libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress has damaged her reputation and caused “mental anguish and emotional distress, including anxiety, anger, depression, irritability and loss of sleep.'” Worth noting is that the suit includes “anonymous” blog commentators that posted defamatory messages that caused the above malicious, intentional actions. Noteworthy is the fact that Dave Stancliff has a record of making defamatory comments on other peoples blogs.

The same newspaper article says, according to a law professor at U.C. Berkeley, “If messages are sent out over the Internet, it doesn't protect them from making defamatory statements.” He also said that just because “the comments were made by anonymous users shouldn't matter legally.” The Report contends that the same is true when made against so-called “anonymous” bloggers. -- Something this lawsuit should give everyone pause to consider.

Locally, and more importantly we assert, the problem is that the Times-Standard newspaper represents this community. Supporting the legitimacy of a Dave Stancliff says more about the people that run that newspaper and their respect and service for and to this community than anything else. We deserve better.

Conspiracy of Silence



On Sunday, May 31, 2009 Dave Stancliff wrote in the Times-Standard newspaper in his column called “As It Stands” the article titled: “Trolls Exposed: What kind of troll is disrupting your online community?” Like everything in life, not everything is as it seems. Dave Stancliff has a presence on Internet Blogs and over time we've observed his commentary. Did he have an ulterior motive in writing that article? Who knew. How about the Times-Standard staff, did they agree with his premise? Who knew?

Well, we wrote about our observations here on this Blog. The tendency to vilify the writer, attack the messenger, when the subject being discussed touches a little too close to the truth, has led to some serious conditions, not only in America, and subject right here in Humboldt County, but around the World. We pointed out that Stancliff's approach to this subject was rather simplistic and in its totality largely responsible for causing the loss of media credibility and factual reporting. In that, we alluded, one person's efforts to illicit thought or thoughtful consideration was another person's “troll.”

Dave Stancliff's assault in his column was upon the person he tagged or simply claimed was a “troll.” In that, he assaulted their personal credibility, and suggested that they be starved to death -- ignored. In that he assaulted their legitimate right to exist in whatever manner they chose to present themselves. We witnessed a good example of this form of discrimination and bigotry with the active assault some months back by a gang of local blogger thugs on Steve Lewis. This is same tactic the United States in league and complicit with the United Nations has done to North Korea for more than 50 years simply because they refuse to recognize the North Korean people's right to sustain a totalitarian government. What's our point? Dave Stancliff didn't assault “trolls” he assaulted people, people he merely accused of being “trolls.” His definition of "trolls" detailed nearly everyone that posts and comments online and allowed him and his kind the freedom to accuse just about anyone at any time. What made this matter doubly serious is that he is published by the newspaper and writes under the same title: “AS IT STANDS.” As It Stands could just as easily be written, “As It IS.” Why is that important? The name itself speaks to a permanent, factual and truthful reality based upon his personal credibility and legitimacy to do so propagated by the Times-Standard newspaper. He's somebody in this community! And the Times-Standard backs that up by publishing him under his brand, “As It Stands.”

If there ever was some question about the Report's integrity regarding our observations, Dave Stancliff by his unsolicited demagogic tirade on our blog and his slanderous hate speech posting on his blog, “As It Stands” removed all doubt. As bad as that is, that fact that the Times-Standard continues to run his columns makes this issue far more serious. Whatever he writes under the name “As It Stands” is sanctioned and approved by the Staff and Management of the Times-Standard newspaper. Therefore the bigotry, prejudice and hate speech written by Dave Stancliff is legitimized by the Times-Standard. Consequently, we sent, in behalf of the Joe Blow Report, the following email to three people at the Times-Standard, Dave Kuta Publisher, Kimberly Wear Managing Editor and James Faulk City Editor:

Dear Mr. Kuta,

I would like to bring to your attention the latest blog commentary about me and my online blog, the Joe Blow Report, by Dave Stancliff. As far the the Report is concerned normal blog commentary and article postings are laissez-faire. They bring with them limited legitimacy and credibility as compared to published media. Whatever Mr. Stancliff writes for your newspaper, you approve. You can relegate what he says to "opinion," yet I contend ultimately you or someone representing your newspaper approves, therefore you stand behind what he says as if you said it yourself.

The Joe Blow Reports were designed to avoid the kind of personal diatribe and hate mongering that comes from assaulting the writer. Unfortunately, Mr. Stancliff was personally affronted by my observations regarding his Sunday, May 31, 2009 "As It Stands" article and the part that he played in writing it. He came into by blog and expressed that effrontery in graphic terms by formulating a false accusation to revile the integrity of me, backed up by days of ever more egregious personal accusations. The ensuing conversation, if that's what you want to call it, over the next days speaks for itself. What he wrote is easily erased and bears no ultimate threat as a consequence of some of the accusations he makes. That all changed, however, when he posted on his blog, As It Stands, accusations against me of operating a "hate-filled blog" and of being "paranoid," among other things, but more importantly of personally "threatening him." This goes way beyond the pale.
What was their response? They ran Dave Stancliff's column in the Sunday, June 14, 2009, issue of the Times-Standard. Anyone familiar with what's been going on here knows exactly what the staff and management of the Times-Standard thinks of the Joe Blow Report and everyone associated with it. Well, read what Dave Stancliff accuses us of being here. In that same Sunday newspaper on page A4 is the article, "'Lone Wolf' terrorists are harder to defeat." Who are these "terrorists"? They define three people as "an elderly man" in a museum, "a young man in Arkansas" and "another man opens fire in a Kansas church." -- All Americans! The article goes on to say:
"Each apparently was driven to act by beliefs considered by some as extreme." "It could be anyone. It could be the guy next door, living in the basement of his mother's place, on the Internet just building himself up with hate, building himself up to a boiling point and finally using what he's learned."
Now tell me that this is exactly what Dave Stancliff with all his published authority is saying about anyone associated with the Joe Blow Report?

Psycho Terrorists

(UPDATE BELOW - Update II)

The World and its people are facing an ever expanding and never ending War on Terrorism. That War is fought, according to some, against ideological, religious extremists, sometimes these are governments or regimes, but mostly against people. All it takes to be guilty of being a terrorist is for someone to make the accusation. These people are held in a cage indefinitely, some for nearly a decade, psychologically, emotionally and physically tortured. Even when ordered by the Courts they continue to hold them. Most astounding in all of this is that these lawless criminals do all of this with impunity.

There are many forms of terrorism. To name a few, there are Civil Disorders, Political Terrorism, Non-Political Terrorism, Quasi-Terrorism, Limited Political Terrorism, Official or State Terrorism, and Structural Terrorism. There is Democratic and domestic terrorism, Islamic Terrorism. Add to this: Christian Terrorism, Communist Terrorism, Counter-terrorism, Cyber-terrorism, Domestic terrorist (United States), Eco-terrorism, Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism, Islamic Terrorism Jewish Terrorism, Narcoterrorism, the Patriot Act and that's just from Wikipedia.

Add to this list the latest from the Huffington Post: Christian Fundamentalist Terrorism -- Shanny Moore concludes her article by saying:

The "war on terror" needs to include domestic religious, fundamentalist terrorists.
You can add to that list Socio and Psycho Terrorism.

It's time for people to recognized terrorism for what it is in all of its insidious forms. Terrorists, by their very nature, exist in the dark. They hide behind good and decent people and appear normal, average and common. They talk the good talk, they put on a good facade. In truth, however, they are the worst of the worst; they are traitors in the fullest meaning of the word. They are deviant, lying, murderous cowards. They butcher innocent women and children to get at the men. They attack people where they live without remorse or conscience.

A good definition of Social Terrorism by Louis Komzsik in his book of the same name is:
Social terrorism is a subversive activity in which a small segment of the society, in order to gain or retain control, arrogates its philosophy onto the majority of the society, while completely disregarding the good of the society as a whole.
Socio Terrorists are a new breed. They attack society at its most fundamental framework and legitimate reasons for existence. They preach freedom, but practice discrimination, prejudice, bigotry and terrorize by lies, false accusations, slander and all kinds of innuendo. They demand the right to protection of law, but at heart they are lawless anarchists that assault the law in every way possible.

In many ways Socio Terrorism is like Psycho Terrorism and Psycho Terrorism is like Psychological Warfare.
The U.S. Department of Defense defines psychological warfare (PSYWAR) as: "The planned use of propaganda and other psychological actions having the primary purpose of influencing the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of hostile foreign groups in such a way as to support the achievement of national objectives."

During World War II the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff defined psychological warfare more broadly stating "Psychological warfare employs any weapon to influence the mind of the enemy. The weapons are psychological only in the effect they produce and not because of the weapons themselves." (Emphasis added) [Wikipedia]
Frankly, this article on Psycho Terrorists is mandated by what resulted from the Report article titled, “Trolls and the Thought Police” based upon the Time-Standard newspaper article written by Dave Stancliff in his Sunday, May 31, 2009, “As It Stands” column. When he was unsuccessful bullying us into doing what he wanted, he personally attacked and vilified us on his Blog. You can read what he accused us of being and of doing here. It seems there is a certain class of people in this country that have the right to say these kinds of things and worse in public, on the TV, in Internet Blogs, Newspapers and magazines whereas if this was someone from the Ku Klux Klan, some Nazi militia talking about the Jews or one of any other radical extremist Believer they'd be arrested and thrown in jail in a heartbeat for hate crimes under old laws and terrorism under the Patriot Act.

Yet, they are not. The question is, why not?

That very question was asked by Dr. Warren Hern in his Democracy Now interview today. In fact, he makes the very point of our observations discussed in the Report about “Trolls and the Thought Police.” This is just one of his comments:
But I think that it’s—the glee expressed by the anti-abortion fanatics is just grotesque. It’s ghoulish. These people—this is a violent terrorist movement in this country, and the American people need to understand that there’s a great deal more at stake here than the activities of one doctor, of the services of one doctor. Of course, this is a great loss for women, but this means that we have a very highly organized, active, well-armed and well-funded terrorist movement in the country that opposes the basic premises of American society. These people are opposed to constitutional democracy. They’re opposed to the rule of law. They’re opposed to a democratic government, representative government. They’re opposed to basic personal freedom. They’re opposed to thought. And this is a tremendous step backwards. [Emphasis added]
Louis Komzsik says these terrorists, "in order to gain or retain control, arrogates its philosophy onto the majority of the society." Arrogate is an interesting word. It means, "to claim unwarrantably or presumptuously; assume or appropriate to oneself without right" the authority to make one's worthless opinions fact. This is done by repeating the same lies over and over until everyone accepts it as truth. In other words just "BS" propaganda. While Blog articles and commentary are a dime-a-dozen, the problem is when posted, they become or have the potential to become volatile.

Real terrorism is a lot closer to home in America than most of us would want to believe. Our article on the Thought Police touched a real nerve. As, perhaps, it should.

Racism, Hate Speech, Extremism, bigotry, worthless opinions and lies are self-defining. Whether or not the person or persons making these statements are racist, hate mongers, bigots, or worthless liars is probably a personal judgment. Or is it? When you see a duck do you say, "there goes a turkey"?

Dave Stancliff has posted two "As It Stands" blogs accusing me of "spewing hate" in my May 31, 2009, "Troll's versus Thought Police" article about one of his Time-Standard, "As It Stands" columns. You can read that article and make up your own mind. When you find that "hate" I'd like someone to point it out. Or you can read what he said and tell me if it's a turkey?

Joe Blow (conspiracy) Report staff bawl like babies!

Well readers, this is what I have to contend with sometimes. Extremists tend to attack anything that doesn't fit their world view. There's a group at the Joe Blow Report blog that decided to attack me on May 31st and who posted a hate-filled rant about a column I did on trolls (of all the ironies!) This is a group that has the mind-set of a steel trap.

Now they have their crying towels (it took them two weeks to think of a reply) out and are blubbering to all that will read their raving. I'm not going to be intimidated by a bunch of cowards who are whining about a conspiracy between me and the Times-Standard to attack trolls! Good grief! Get a life you blowhards.

I don't know who you think you are, but I do know that you seek to impose your will upon others by reading your past posts. Now you think you can silence me by making outrageous accusations and trying to get the newspaper to drop my column. Guess again gang. You'll never be able to silence me. You best bet is to change your soiled diapers and to find someone else to pick on

HumBug Blogger Elite Report II


At least once a week I go through my list of local blogs whether they really interest me or not. Most do. Some change or dry up. It's a kind of penance I pay for writing the Report. Occasionally, if the subject interests me, I'll even post an observation or ask a question. Over the months, I've noticed that the regular commentators, the Blah, Blah, Blah types who regularly wash each others hands, work together like a pack of ravenous dogs when a stranger tries to enter into their little social club. Or, they just ignore you altogether. No talking to terrorists you know?

Local blogs and blog commentary is a fair representation of local interests, issues and problems ranging from "A" to "Z". Everyone has an opinion on something and everything. Lord forbid someone should point out their opinions have nothing to do with rhyme, rhythm, history or the facts. Of course, it's all nothing but "WORDS" and we all know "words," when you get right down to it, are pure, unadulterated bull-shit.

So, why then all the animus when someone has the courage to disagree, point out their insincerity, or rank dishonesty?

I recently went on SoHum Parlance II and asked a couple of questions. For that I was told that I "looked like a duck," "walked like a duck" and that my comments were "duck crap." Remember, there's one rule the Blogger of Record, Eric Kirk insists upon: NO NAME CALLING. Even though he joined in with the excoriating ridicule he rose above, NAME CALLING! The ad homonym belittling insults of Kirk and his ad hoc groupies speaks for itself, to anyone wasting their time reading that crap. Yet, we find he's accepted and fits right in the Humbug Blogger Elite.

The above reveals, to any serious peruser of these local blogs, a couple of common threads. One, there is really NO serious conversation regarding important issues and problems. It's mostly all fluff and smoke and mirror stuff. Second, is the grid lock caused by the intolerance, xenophobic bigotry and hatred. Lest we forget to mention, there's a third thread Joe chooses to call the Humbug Blogger Elite. They represent the kind of club that has permeated the North Coast's perennial problems and ailments that ostracizes and victimizes every citizen and non-citizen alike. Such things like why there is no freeway bypassing Eureka and Bayside, Eureka police use of tazers, lack of transparency in government, some sort of serious police review, lack of effective traffic enforcement, and the list goes on.

What got me to thinking about this is what happened when I clicked on the North Coast Journal Blog and I was introduced to their new Blogthing. Hank Sims was ecstatic about their new Robot. He's got his robot setup to search the Times-Standard's internet homepage and as he says, "He watches a list of local blogs and informs us when they are updated." A real tiny list!

I would guess they think that tiny list of blog sites is a good enough cross-section of "politics, people and art" in Humboldt County to justify their little news paper. Here's one list, it changes every day:

This is what The Journal says about itself:

The North Coast Journal of Politics, People & Art is a guide to what's really happening on the far North Coast of California. Unfortunately saying it doesn't make it true. Hank Sims seems to think that print media and their reporters stands head and shoulders above electronic media when it comes to accountability, honesty and integrity. He may have a point. Being an honest reporter in this day and age is a dangerous business. Sticking to the facts and not getting caught up in disseminating persuasive propaganda and rampant character assassination is a tough job, too. Even so, maybe it's time Joe Blow spent a little more time getting to know The Journal.

Look at the Blog Roll on each of these sites and you begin to see the thread of commonality. Joe has to ask, "Where's the beef"?

We agree. You can read some of our commentary on this subject here. "Death by Moron" says a lot about anonymous commentators. Moronic blogs and commentators discourage most decent conversation, if you can find any, unless moderated.

Humbug SoHum Elite


This seems like a good time and place to make the following observations about a couple of Southern Humboldt Blogs. Blogs are essentially an online person's place of residence; a kind of alter ego home. When you open up that home for commentary you post a “Welcome” sign on your front door that says, “Please come in and speak to me and my guests.” Since visitors are invited guests, they should act like guests and be treated like they are, welcomed guests. Welcomed guests and hosts alike are first and foremost decent and respectful of the individual rights of all legitimate people to exist. Rarely do you ever read a “Welcome” sign that says: “ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.” Yet that is exactly what I have encountered at two prominent (if you consider all the commentary posted on their blogs to mean anything) Southern Humboldt blogger's abodes. They talk or write like they are some kind of self-righteous, supreme authority on all things in God's creation. An old logger might say, "They think their crap don't stink!" They invite or entice you in to have intercourse, to make commentary. In Joe's situation, make “observations,” no intercourse. When the payoff isn't satisfactory, doesn't produce what they expected or wanted, they then use that opportunity to tell you what a pile of dog crap they think you are. Then when you have the temerity to object to their personal diseased characterizations and demeaning accusations of being everything from the lowest form of slime to a psychotic imbecile they delete your response. Rarely will they ever tell you that you are NOT welcome and to not come back with anymore talk. They hope you'll come back and say something so they can publicly ridicule you some more.

My most recent experience with “assaulting the messenger” was with Eric Kirk, SoHum Parlance II. I realize Eric Kirk lives in own little dreamworld and can't handle getting his cage rattled once in awhile, like most of us. Going at me personally to justify censoring my observations prompted this partial response:
Since I know you’ll read this, let me say that when you open the door to your blog and invite everyone in including Anonymous people to denigrate, demean, slander and personally assault with foul, hypercritical and lying accusations then remove the response because it offends your pussy sensibilities you make your blog a whorehouse.

The problem here with the both of these guys and the reason for their online conduct is that they are basically racist and dehumanize people and their societies to justify their intolerant racist actions. Like all racist warmongers when they can't support themselves they immediately attack their victims.

I posted this response because I went back to Erik's blog and asked him a third time to explain himself. I noticed that he's been back to that thread several times after I asked. Normally Joe has no time nor any tolerance for the rude and indecent behavior of the type encountered with these two prima donnas. However, after Erik left his little rat droppings all over both of my blogs, apparently trying to make some point, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, "discernment of truth does not grow in empty minds."

The Humbug Bloggers in Humboldt encompass a nifty little social club. A classic example of who these people are is the list on the sidebar of The Humboldt Herald. Pretty much says it all when you compare lists on other local Humboldt blogs. Joe vainly keeps checking for his blogs to magically appear, but no such luck . . .

I recently came across another good example of this "Good-ol' Boy Club" posted recently at 
Ernie's Place. His title, as far as Joe Blow observes, is in fact, Nothing New. His "list" is a-typical of "The Club," however. Here's a couple more similar blog links. If that's not enough, check this one out. "Do you like local history, droll humor and a sensible outlook?" From this guy's blog? Really? See what I mean?
